Has anyone played Claustrophobia? I've been thinking about buying it, but I'm not sure. I love co-operative dungeon-crawl games, but I've never played Space Hulk. People say Claustrophobia is a Space Hulk killer, though, so I am not sure which I should get in the future.

Space Hulk killer? I doubt it.
If you want some "cheap" Space Hulk, get the new card game that's coming out. Supposed to be very good.

Ever played it? That's what the game playing folks at BGG are saying, anyway. Leaves me to wonder which I should get . . . I'm not, however, really interested in card games, unfortunately.

I use to play Stock Ticker with my uncle when I was like 6. What an awesome game!

Yeah but those are people who are probably ticked at GW. I've only played Space Hulk, and I can't see Claustrophobia being better than it. The gameplay would have to be miles better because no way it touches Space Hulk when it comes to components.
Castle Ravenloft looks better than Claustrophobia also, and I'll be getting that when it comes out.

Where is a good place to buy used games? Anyone ever had any experience with online companies?

I'd be in for a CP game night, assuming it fits my schedule.

There is a used game exchange at this event:
http://www.fallcon.com/
FallCon is a boardgame and tabletop miniatures convention for the masses held every fall in Calgary. Consider FallCon a philosophical extension to those fun Friday game nights you spend with family and friends! Against a backdrop of fun and friendly competition, gamers young and old are invited to join us in playing some of the best games available today.
October 15-17, 2010
Marlborough Community Hall
636 Marlborough Way NE
Calgary, AB
Calgary Boardgame Meet-Up Group:
http://www.meetup.com/boardgames-33/
Meeting locations and times:
We meet several times a month at various locations spread out across the city. I am always looking for additional locations to hold Meetups. If you know of any venues that you'd like to host a regular gaming day/night at, please let us know.
Occasionally when the mood strikes, members of the group may also host gaming nights from their house or other locations such as pubs and coffee houses. Should you wish to host your own boardgame night, please contact Jasen and he'll post a new event to the group site. Smoking, drinking and eating rules are at the discretion of the host.
Who can come?
The game nights are open to all individuals. The core of the group consists of young-to-middle-aged professionals and university/college students. Attendance is generally around 30% women, 70% guys - I'm aiming for parity! Essentially if you have any interest in playing board or card games, there's room for you in our group. Friends and family members are always encouraged to join us as well.

I could possibly host something this Saturday or Sunday night, in my board room.

Some gamers are a little "gamey". Finally, soap made especially for them!
http://paizo.com/store/blog#v5748dyo5lbf5
Geeky Clean! makes a broad line of geeky soaps with cool things stuck in the center. We've got seven styles of their soap in our warehouse now!- Bar Trek is scented with a subtle Acai Berry and Satin fragrance, and contains a black d20.
- Barbarian Scrub contains a gentle dusting of exfoliating apricot seeds with the valiant scent of spiced oranges; it comes with a random game die in the middle.
- Cure Light Wounds comes with a white d20 and is made with real peppermint oil for that tingly all-over refreshment!
- Health Soap is scented with a fiery Nag Champa incense oil and moisturizing coconut oil, and comes with a random game die in the middle.
- Mana Soap emits the ethereal scent of coconut, contains gentle exfoliating spheres that will cleanse your delicate hands, and packs a random game die in the middle.
- Sexterity Soap is deeply scented with a lush blend of peach, cherry blossom and white jasmine, and houses a random game die.
- Zom-B-Gone is a lilac-scented bar that will whisk away your survivalist stench; it comes with a neat skull and crossbones in the middle.
So get your clean on with one of these creative and oh-so-geeky soaps!

None of them contain bleach? Sorry, I don't think any of these will cut through the first layer of filth on some gamers.

If some guys are going to get together for some Diplomacy I'd love to be there!
I used to own this game and my wife got rid of it....I never actually got to play the game as I had bought it in hopes of getting some guys together to play and it never really materialized. I've always wanted to play though!

A ridiculously low price for Castle Ravenloft if anyone is looking to pick it up:
http://www.cartamagicastore.com/inde...ducts_id=13829
Pretty much 50% off.
