Why is there an Heat logo on this? We've come to the conclusion that REAL Jail Lesbian Sex is not hot, nor is Kamloops close to Abotsford.

If they knew that the one prisoner had HIV, and the other was to drunk to consent, then they should absolutely be fired.
They do have an obligation to protect prisoners from harm.
If a guy with HIV pounded a really drunk male inmate and the guards stood around and watched, there'd be a national condemnation of their actions.

What's the statistics on a gal being able to pass HIV to another gal? How did the cops know she had the HIV btw?

From my understanding there have been cases of female to female transmission, mostly involving menstrual blood or secretions, so there is the possibility.
I don't know if the guards knew, but it was indicating that they had prior knowledge that she was HIV positive.
