Haha, I love McEnroe's comments about the trophy wives.

The trophy wives have probably been the best part of this match. It's been very poor. Roddick looks tired already, Tipsarevic keeps making boneheaded dropshots. Seems more like a practice than a match except that they're keeping score.

I think Roddick is in deep doo-doo if he lets this set go.

Yes, Roddick does look sluggish and the swagger on his serve isn't there.

Croud is quiet while Tipsarevic tapes his finger

All of the sudden, you hear a single loud man: "LETS GO RANGERS"

Crowd laughs

End scene

Tied at 1 set each. Roddick just doesn't look like himself today. Even when he screws up, he usually does it in his own style.

We'll see if he pulls it out.

He always points out the WAGs. He mentioned Brookyln Decker and then later pointed out Tipsarevic's wife and said something like "very fine-looking woman."

Roddick is just lost after that foot-fault call. It was definitely the right one by the judge, regardless of how she incorrectly described it to him.

I don't know if I was Roddick I'd lose it too

A) How can a linesman not know what foot foot-faulted! Don't say right or left, just say FRONT FOOT. That chick was STUPID.

B) Roddick really needed a boost and kept going back to yelling at the linesman. Gave him some momentum and he almost saved the 4th set.

I really like Tipsarevic, his post game interview was very philosophical An easy guy to cheer for.

At least he didn't tell her to shove it, ala Williams circa 2009.

He didn't even get a warning, the chair umpire was trying really hard not to laugh!

hahaha. Stupid Roddick. Most useless person in tennis. He should just get the hell off the tour. EXACT opposite of Federer.

I hope he is crying buckets in the dressing room, stupid dick.

We've all heard Federer swear at umpires before! But I agree about Roddick being useless.

Another Canadian on tv later!

Peter Polansky (CAN) vs James Blake (USA) (2nd Round)

It's a later match, 4th match on Armstrong so maybe 2pm Mountain?

He used to be so personable and funny even if he was a jerk and he had the game to back it up on the court. Now he just seems bitter and jaded.

Close!

Quote:
He missed his second serve for a double-fault, then continued to harangue the official, at one point jokingly making a reference to “1-800-Rent-a-Ref.”

“In hindsight, did I let it go too far?” Roddick said at his news conference, repeating a reporter’s question. “Probably.”

The lineswoman was not on court at the start of the fourth set, when Roddick was called twice more for foot faults. He did not put up a fight at all on those, and at his news conference made clear that he wasn’t upset by the initial call - just the right-vs.-left issue.
I'm thinking of sending him some cheese, though.

That right-foot left-foot thing was crazy. You'd hope the officials know what they're looking at. Foot faults are so rarely called. The other foot fault calls the official said LEFT FOOT and Roddick was fine with it.

who cares which foot it was? it was clearly a foot fault. Whats the point of arguing? Just shut up and lose.
