Yeah a cat on fire sounds much much worse. The kicked kitten runs away after like its fine, but still.

Holy hell... I'm not one to get all twisted up over a graphic video... but Jesus H. Christ, that is disturbing.

How could someone do this?

This is what you get, bitch. I hope 4chan has their way with you.

4chan has become a very disturbing part of our culture. You watch a video where people think someone is being discusting, without all the context and then people sit back and wait for a group of people to literally ruin her life, like they've done to other people, and everyone is entertained by it.

Yeah, she may be disturbed. It's just weird that there can be other factors, ie: maybe she has a mental condition, maybe like others have said, she grew up on a farm and it's normal to her, and she laughs to deal with it. But the reasoning is beside the point. I just find it very disturbing that people have their lives ruined by these sick ***** with no trial, so to speak, and millions of people laugh and love it.

Fair enough- the video is just shocking... and brings out serious anger in myself.

I dont want anyone's lives ruined but while anons are formidable, they also have very short attention spans.

If they ruin her life for a week, that would be ok...

Yeah, that's not what they do though, they go further than that, and that's kind of my whole point. Everyone sees a video and they are "shocked" by what they see, so they demand the worst justice on someone immediatly. Which on the internet, has become 4chan.

Be careful what you record and put on the interwebs.

Again, that's beside the point. It's a group of people that see a video and destroy someone based on their interperation of the video. I'm probably coming off more defensive than I actually am, as I don't really care too much. But that place is collectively some of the lowest forms of life out there, but unfortunately they also hold a lot of power, and people are entertained by it.

What do people on 4chan do anyways? I'm just curious because I don't really know. Do they hack into your accounts and ruin your credit? Find out where you live and post stupid stuff on Kijiji?

Well you remember those bullies in high school?

These are the guys who got beat up and made fun of. They are usually ugly fat and nerdy who collapse into a coma if a girl so much as looks in their general direction.

Because of their suffering they have something to make them feel better, the intrawebz! Revenge is sweet, well at least online.

Oh plus lots of anxst, due to also lack of sex.

Maybe in general you're correct, but it's a little difficult to misinterpret this video.

I highly doubt there's a 30 second clip from the beginning missing that explains why she has a good reason for throwing puppies in a river to drown while laughing about it.

I fully support the collective internet ruining her life.

I feel very strongly that she deserves to be thrown in a river. That probably won't happen, so the wrath of 4chan will have to do.

Has anyone here ever shot gophers in a farmers field and had a good time in doing so?

Is the outrage due to the fact that:
- They are puppies and in western culture we have an attachment to dogs?
- That she appears to be enjoying the act?
- The manner in which the puppies were killed?

Or is there another reason?

Western culture has a lot to do with it, and that's why it's a little disturbing that people want her punished so harshly, aka 4chan. If she posted the same video with a bucket of gophers it would be a non-issue.

It's hilarious! Stupid gopher is looking up and BANG! Off with it's head.
The truth is I have never shot a gopher, but I hear it's fun.

Imagine if pups that she tossed in the river were Labs. They could have grown to be guide dogs for the blind. There are other useful purposes that dogs serve in todays society.

I've trapped and snared them. (neither were pretty)
We used to get paid for the tails.

I've also used an elastrator on young calves. (Don't google it if you have a weak stomach)

On our farm we never "got rid" of puppies. We found them homes or brought them to the auction mart and gave them away there.

Litters of kittens usually took care of themselves. Coyotes, older more dominant cats, stomped by cattle, frost bite, etc.

Fact is on farms there are a lot of unpleasant things.

I will assume that the war torn nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina doesn't have a huge market for guide dogs for the blind. Not saying what she did was right but given the history of the region throwing dogs in the river is a relatively minor issue when it is compared to war and genocide.

But what do they actually DO? "Ruin people's lives" in what way?

PS. Haven't watched the video. Don't want to. Just wondering about the wrath of 4chan.
