I live in ward 13. My biggest issue is how the hell do they let Slava run for public office? If you get elected Slava I expect some hush money to keep my yap shut. =)
Edit- just saw the video that troutman linked to. Well done!

We all know these Internet polls are unreliable, so here's a solution. We'll have a poll amongst the adults in wards 11 & 13 on October 18th. Just find my name, and put a check mark if you like me and an "x" if you don't. I will go back and look after!

Got any maps of Calgary wards?
In place of a map, I will vote for ward 50.

I live in Ward 7. My biggest concern is maintaining the status quo of the rest of the city weeping it up over my Alderman

If you don't know which ward you live in:
http://www.calgary.ca/docgallery/bu/...boundaries.pdf
Also, if you knew which ward you were in last election, it may have changed since the boundaries were shifted, so you'd best check the link anyway.

Ward #11.
My issues for the Ward:
1) The friggin' Ring Road....
2) Why Mr. Pincott went along with the Designer Bridges.
3) Getting the South and West portions hooked into the LRT via Bus.
4) Development of the former barracks land (Lincoln Park) needs to be community oriented, and higher density (Not million dollar homes).
My issues for the City:
1) Stop growing OUTWARDS.
2) Significantly improve transit service into the SE.
3) The friggin' Ring Road.
4) Designer bridges (stopping it from happening again)

^ are you in favour of the ring road going through weaselhead and Lakeview or you only want it to go through the reserve? Just curious as ward 11 is fairly divided on that depending on where you live in the ward.
