Incorrect.
Men are players, women are sluts.
You"re welcome.

Well if 3/4 of aids victims in Africa are HETERO females, how do you suppose they're getting the disease? Men are infecting multiple women.

But it still boils down to responsibility on both parties. Considering HIV is a preventable disease, there has to be some responsibility for both sides. Obviously being informed is a huge one, but so is using protection.

That's a little simplistic. Women can't make men wear a condom, the disease is far more easily spread man to female than vice versa, and women live in a culture which condones their own inferiority to men. It's not a healthy situation.

I'm not saying it isn't, but Cecil, upon hearing that 3/4 of people with aids were women, called them sluts. They've clearly had sex with at least one person, but we can't really say they're sluts now can we? On the other hand, we do know that the men are clearly infecting multiple partners.

And, well, to play devil's advocate here, there is of course the possibility that one could become infected with AIDS/HIV without having sex.

Than with all do respect, they should close their legs. Of course it isn't a healthy situation, but it takes two to tango.

I agree labels are quickly tossed around, especially regarding the promiscuity of males/females and the different perceptions of it. Its not right, but the stereotype seems to keep on sticking around. And to be honest, that's up for a whole other debate. The whole "male is a player, woman is a whore" thing is definitely a big issue.

True, but the majority is through unprotected sexual intercourse.

Yeah, except that the majority of female hetero victims are in relationships they assume to be trusting and monogamous. No blame there.

Is it right for them to assume? Or should they consider the obvious huge increase in HIV transmissions that they should ask?

And their partners will be honest and say, 'yes I'm sleeping around on you honey! I've contracted HIV and I want to give it to EVERYONE!'. Give your head a shake.

Looks like he has been arrested in Calgary. He turned himself in.
Quote:
Just before 7 p.m. Thursday, 26-year-old Sudanese immigrant Apay Ogouk turned himself in at the Calgary police District 4 office, where he will now be facing charges of aggravated assault in Winnipeg.
Insp. Keith Cain said Ogouk walked into the northeast police station and gave himself up.
"He turned himself in at the front counter and we will be notifying Winnipeg that he is in custody," he said. "All we're doing is arresting him on a Canada-wide warrant — it's up to Winnipeg to decide what happens next."

Ah yes, because it's just that simple. Do you live in an episode of the Brady Bunch?

HIV infected black guy infects a 12 year old... I am pretty sure the guys in prison will do more to him then our judicial system ever could. Here's hoping that Big John double-bag it when he hands out prison justice to this low life, AIDS is no joke Big John!
