Are you kidding, one of the obligations in having a disease like this is to warn your partner so she doesn't get infected. This guy has infected multiple partners without their knowledge.
Screw jail, we should send him home, not only is he callous with other peoples lives, but he's a drain on the medical system.

Probably true, but very sad. He should be charged with attempted murder and if they do pass away from Aids it should be upgraded to murder.
Anything under 20 years for this crime is a joke.

how do you differentiate between AIDS infected scum and AIDS infected non-scum? Or are you saying AIDS infection and scum are one and the same?
Anyways, don't know Canada's immigration policy, but in order to get a US green card, one is subjected to a very comprehensive medical exam that includes an HIV test among many other tests for various infection/afflictions

Yes, I don't think anyone with serious illness should be allowed to immigrate to our country, immigrants need to contribute to our country in a positive way.

AIDS = Scum  That's quite the policy.
Next, we'll go onto another instance of puzzling logic, the assumption that he couldn't possibly have contracted AIDS after immigrating to Canada. Why of course not, only Africans have AIDS? Have you been sent to the future from 1978?

Honestly, if something chronic comes up in a immigration medical exam, then I have trouble with letting them in. We have enough problems in our medical system without weighing it down further.
I was also the guy that argue'd that Khadr shouldn't have been allowed back into Canada where they proceeded to leech off of our medical and welfare system while telling everyone how much they hated our country, and sending their sons off to try to kill us.

turns out Landed Immigrant status is dependent on an HIV test, although a positive test does not necessarily exclude the applicant

They also get tested for TB, parasites, hepatitis and, I think, syphilis.

Does this man even know how serious teh AIDS is? Seems he didn't grow up in an area where sex ed was really high on the priority list of what they teach in schools. I don't wanna come off sounding like I'm apologizing for this guy or anything, but a murder charge seems a bit harsh if he has no idea what AIDS is or how serious it is.
