Its hit and miss...my advice is that you have to go early (8am kinda thing). The store will do there best to tell you they have no phones and have no idea when they will come in. However, I think they are getting them in every couple days..so if you can commit the time you will be good to go.

Hehe.
What's interesting is one of the units appears to be unlocked (have not jailbroken it), as I have tested it with Rogers, Fido, Telus and an AT&T sim card (cut it into a microsim) and it works :-x, just like it does with my factory unlocked unit that I purchased from Apple.
The other unit locked to Fido upon activation. (and says invalid sim on the other sim cards)

This must be a iOS4 thing but still... when you have your phone connected to sync it now plays the actual ringtones. Never did that with my 3G

Well I'm super jealous. While walking through Southcentre we asked the Bell folks about plans and they had 1 in stock. Now my wife has one and I'm on the 3GS. It really is a great looking phone.

^^^ You can do that to the iPhone 4? That looks pretty cool. Is there anything bad that happens if you jail break the phone?

Nothing bad IMO. Some say battery life, i have not noticed any loss. One of the apps I use on the lockscreen is Lockinfo, it hasn't been updated for Retina display hence the pixelation on the above pic :P
BTW, NHL 2k11 is out. There is also a lite version that is free so you can try before you drop 1.99!
Edit: Not compatible with iPhone 3G or first gen iPod touch. (too slow )

Never did get a 4 (since Rogers blows) but the 3GS >>>>>> 5 year old Samsung flip phones. Also helps when you're hunting for an apartment (and Starbucks) in a city you're in for the first time. =P
I don't seem to see crazy lines for the 4 anymore.

I think it looks great, but it really begs the question, why does this require jailbreaking? People manage to customize their computer homescreens without destroying their Macs and PCs, why can't they be trusted to do the same with phones?

Agreed to a certain extent, but not quite. It is smart of Apple IMO to restrict apps from having the read/write access to the root, as this may cause phone's to have more issues. This has proven to be true with jailbroken apps in the past, especially on the iPhone 2G/3G when "restoring" your phone was quite frequent.

Not to mention that a lot of people are complete idiots when it comes to customizing their own computers and will install everything under the sun onto it and bring the OS to a crawl. Although the iOS looks like a little dated to me. I would like to see widgets.

I've gone the jailbroken way and it gave me a much higher appreciation for Apple's walled garden approach. I did it on two separate occasions, once it destroyed my battery and the other it introduced a host of very strange problems that all disappeared after a restore (contact pictures were all scrambled, certain apps wouldn't update, and my music player stuttered and skipped). Some people can manage their phones and apps very well ... clearly I cannot as I pretty much rendered it useless.

Meh, here's my 3GS from a few weeks ago. I owned the phone for only 45 minutes before I jailbroke it, mostly avoiding the useless paperweight that is a stock iPhone.

Yes. Having to unlock your phone to find out that it's shark week and the real housewives is on would be devastating. You put the pro in productivity.

User interface 101: people really love weather graphics, so try to go out of your way to put them everywhere ... especially over non-important elements like the clock.
