Check out Modern Family. It reminds me a little bit of AD.
Actually, Modern Family has been a show I've been wanting to start watching. I've seen a few clips and episodes here and there and really enjoy it. I really like the dynamic between that gay married couple with their adopted baby. Sophia Vergara is also really really easy on the eyes.
This one is very subtle and most people won't catch it until their second time viewing the series, if at all:
They did a similar shot with Buster sitting on an Army recruiting bus stop ad, that read "Arm off".
One of my favourite parts of the show is that there are a lot of jokes that you don't get until a second or third viewing because they make reference to things that happen in future episodes. In the episode where Buster runs away from home to go to "Mexico" and ends up at their maid's house, he walks around the house and sees all the Bluths' old stuff that Lucille has given to their maid over the years, and he sees his old hand chair and remarks that he's never missed a hand as much as that. That episode aired weeks before he actually loses his hand.

This was the most overrated series on television. None of those scenes were funny.
Because most overrated shows are ranked 123 out of 156 on the Nielson ratings. Those legions of people clearly made it the most overrated series on television.
All the Charlie Brown sad walks from that episode were great. The best was the one where George Michael was walking past houses, and in front of one of the houses was a big red dog house with a beagle lying on the roof.

Can't find a clip, it was one of those end of the episode one-off jokes, when Tobias nonchalantly walked naked past the family eating breakfast, Portia is breaking out of character because she's laughing so hard.
