Fisher may be dumb enough to keep him, and he has shown that he is an idiot, but most successful teams would get rid of this loser right now as he adds nothing positive to the team.
I'll be the first one to admit that the guy clearly has issues with his anger but I do think the guy has a ton of talent.

In 2008, he ran for over 1000 yards and averaged over 7 YPC, and was being talked about as a 2nd-4th round selection. He's also got a rare combination of size and speed being 6'2" 240lbs+ and running a 4.5 40.

The fact that he did so poorly against Boise State has more to do with the fact that the Ducks O-line was the most in-experienced line in div-1 football last year with a combined 5 games started between them, then it does with Blount being bad. FYI he put up over 100 yards against the same Boise State defense the year before.

That reason largely being the fact that he didn't play the majority of his senior season.

He has talent, at least enough to compete for an NFL roster spot, but I'm not sure the talent overrides my concerns about his decision making if I'm running a team.

How has Fisher shown that he is an idiot?

Broncos O-Line looked terrible tonight. Lions front 4 was dominating. Orton still looked great TBQH. Decker wasn't bad at all when he got on the field. I really wish this team would get healthy and get their starters out there.

Was Kuper playing?

Not sure TBQH. I know Harries, Beadles, Walton and Batiste were in. Don't think he was. Beadles switched to LT in the second half and didn't look terrible.

But Brady Quinn still did. He sucks.

I can't believe they are still giving credence to the possibility of Clady playing in Jacksonville. Doesn't seem possible to me.

Steep learning curve for Beadles and Walton, but I am happy they addressed the line in the draft. They need to do it again next year after they pick Locker.

Locker is a pipe dream after the Tebow pick. Beadles and Walton have been doing ok for rookies. McD has them playing all game every game. Gaffney looked like a beast in the game. My worry is the D, they looked like crap. Moss looked awesome finally, but it was second half minutes vs backups. I'm praying someone can pick up the slack for doom, he's done for the year IMO.

Locker has been my pipedream for two years now. Damn it, don't ruin it for me with your negativity!

I think the offense will be good. I don't think they'll be able to stop anyone and Doom has to be out for the year. They'd better not bring him back 3 weeks from the end of the season and 5-8.

The young 49ers o'line looked good against a tough Minnesota front last night. Alex Smith actually having time to make play's, me likey!

SF looked awfully good last night, both offensively and defensively. Patrick Willis is a beast and the two rookies on the offensive line looked pretty good against the Vikings d-line.

I was just happy to see EJ Henderson playing football again, and so quickly after such a devastating injury.

They still have a ways to go. Encouraging, absolutely, but we will see what happens when real bullets start flying. Davis was schooled the week before. Nothing wrong with that, pre-season is the place for it. But I think pre-season is a place where they put players, especially rookies, in uncomfortable situations to see how they handle it. So far, so good; but last year Kory Sheets was a training camp phenom who was eventually plucked off the practice roster by Miami, and Miami have already cut him.

So it is a good sign, but I won't get hyped about it until a couple games in.

The best sign I thought was Smith actually not panicking, stepping up in the pocket, doing multiple reads and willing to throw the ball out of bounds. Last year those were sacks.

Smith has had a bit of a swagger so far this season, hopefully his confidence continues.

Yeah. He came off the field angry a few times. Last few years you would see him wondering what went wrong, this year he appears to recognize the issues.

I've been one of the ones saying he needs some consistency in the system before making a final judgement on him; I'm pulling for him to succeed. But until he can make the playoffs he is going to be dogged by naysayers.

Marc Mariani with another catch and a nice 60 yard kickoff return tonight for the Titans. Hope he makes the team.

And so it begins.

Sidney Rice has surgery on his hip, is out half the season.

Broncos with a few moves / things to note today:

Cut LB Akin Ayodele and will be moving Haggan back inside
Waived OL Tyler Polumbus
Picked up TE Corey Sperry on waiver from Miami - He was good at CSU, and good now Miami fan?

Also Buckhalter, Clady, Champ, Kuper and Demarius Thomas are scheduled to return to practice tomorrow.

No link, just listening to the radio on the drive home.

Sperry is o.k., but he won't change a game for you. I'd be shocked if he does. He played well last year buy moving up to 3rd on the depth chart. He was back to being 4th this year. Dolphins have 3 TE's who are better in Fasano, Martin, and Haynos. He might give you 10 catches this year if yu are lucky. He's big enough to be a good run blocker.

In the Broncs system you've got to be able to do it all. Catch, block, trap block etc. They've got about 6 or 7 on the roster right now. Curious to see who makes the team.

Quinn's been impressive in camp from what I've read. Haven't heard much about Geer.
