Anyone else driven crazy by "Make some noise!" in the Montreal stadium over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

The Bombers must be trying to lose, no intensity at all especially on defense. Atrocious club.

Yes that one was what pushed me to post, but there have been a few interesting calls, including some PI one way but not the other, and at least one very generous spot for the Als.
I will give the refs that they might have let an illegal block go on the return TD.
But the horsecollar they pulled out of their bum really stuck the fork in this one.

Winnipeg has really got the short end of the stick by the officials in this game. One very questionable PI call in the first half, phantom horse collar, no-calls on a blatant holding and offside on the same play just now for a big gain by the Als which pretty well ends the game.
Lol the Bomber runs into the pile trying to punch out the football and they give him unnecessary roughing. Did they really think he ran in to throw punches at a player?

Ouch. That would explain the the dizziness and his apparent breathing difficulties. I wonder how long that kind of thing takes to heal, generally with rib injuries there is not much that can be done except let it heal on it's own, I wonder if that applies here.

Reading some stuff tonight on the web the pain is horrid but a couple visits to the Chiropractor and it heals up quite quickly.

Yeah the CFL has a pretty obvious "ranking ladder" for referee bias. In any other league or sport I'd just chalk it up to paranoia on my part but it's pretty clear in the CFL. Obviously the Argos are at the top of that ladder as they could literally gang rape another player on the field and the refs would stand by and watch and resume play as if nothing ever happened. Montreal and Saskatchewan are up there with them.

The Stamps have sent LB Tristan Black to the Argos for DL Corey Mace.

Mace is interesting... he's going to have to make a decision whether he actually wants to play football (as he could probably do in the CFL), or whether he'd rather continue to take a bigger paycheque to sit on an NFL practice roster. I don't think it's an automatic that he'll be a good CFL player, despite being signed by an NFL team.

If not for Eric Wilbur Chad Owens wins the game for Toronto. Should make for a great rematch on Labor Day.

If he's out for 4 weeks, that would mean he'll miss the bye week; BC in the "we don't have anyone else to play for Labour Day" game; then Hamilton; then Edmonton. Their next game after that is against Winnipeg.
They don't have a game against a team who currently has a winning record until a home-and-home against the Stamps at the start of October.
If he had to get hurt, it's a relatively safe time in the schedule for it to happen. The way their upcoming opponents have been playing, the Als will still probably go at least 3-1 even if he misses the next 4 games and they have to start a rookie QB. There's no reason for him to rush back at this point.
