If you are serious about the rogain stuff and go to the States alot BUY the stuff from the states, not only can you get a 5% solution (extra strength and can only get by perscription in Canada) but it's wwwaaayyy cheaper, I just got back from purchasing my yearly dose. Buy the no name stuff at any place practically and get 3 bottles for around $25 dollars.

Anyhow, i'm just trying to keep my hair as long as possible but its getting to the point where i'm just going to have to give in to genetics.

Yeah I found a guy in the states who is selling Kirkland brand Minoxidil for cheap. The guy is legit as far as I can tell (based largely on near impeccable e-bay feedback). I was blown away at how cheap the stuff has become. A year's supply of 5% is $50.00 shipped. Like you say, I can probably get it even cheaper if I buy it in store down there.

I'm screwed on option A B & D because i'm not bald but I wouldn't say I have a lot of hair and i'm not quite there on D.

Jesus, i'm surprised i've done as well as I have over the years. Must be from the sock I put in my pants when I go out.

Has anyone had any success with propecia and widow's peak balding? I've read it only really works on your crown. Also, how long are you supposed to take it before seeing results? Does it take a few months?

I'm 24 and the widows peaks are setting in big time - I've decided to go the way of just accepting the fact that my hairline is going into the crapper, and have gone the route (just recently, within the last month) of just buzzing it down.

....this has done nothing but further spur my drive to get back into peak shape. I figure I'm fine with being bald/really buzzed down, as long as I get into peak physical shape. I've got one year left of school, so I've set the bar that by the time I graduate, I'll be in the shape I want. Then I'll be perfectly fine with being bald.

To anyone else going this route, I'd say get a tan however you can. Having next to no hair and being pastey as all hell is not the way to go (...as I found out about 4 weeks ago).

Yes. Propecia has worked wonders on my widow's peak. I had one to begin with (I'm Ukrainian, so I had it when I was like 5) but it has retained itself with next to no hair loss for the last two years.

That said, I'm pretty sure Nioxin can accomplish the same thing, but I doubled up and I've had excellent results.
