Most people aren't because discussing something in person tends to be nothing like arguing over the internet. I met several posters that I hated on CP who I had no problems with at all in person. Its actually interesting just how dramatically different the dynamic can be when discussing in person vs arguing over the net.

I've heard that multiple times as well..........decent guy in 'real' life, but just really seemed to lose it at a drop of a hat on this site. It was entertaining at times, but he crossed the line with personal attacks so many times there's no way he could have continued here.
He actually had a few posts/threads over the years that were really good, very informative. Then before you knew it he was back to being a complete jerk. Too bad, he could have been a very decent poster.

I don't think I have seen a serious conversation on this site for months and months and months. I cringe when somebody tries to start a serious thread. It will never happen. Too many comedians.
I just hope I can stay out of it enough so that I can buy some Flames tickets now and then during the season.
