Have any of you gooners bought the new shirts? Are they as tight as last years away and third? I bought size Large last year and they feel like a scuba wetsuit, thank goodness I don't have the beer gut.

Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given has revealed he is not prepared to play second fiddle to Joe Hart and would rather go out on loan than sit on the bench.

Although I was rather frustrated with Flapianski this weekend, after looking at the result more closely I also feel that the defense needs to carry a good portion of the blame as the other team did score 5 goals; two of which were on a better keeper. As much as I like the German duo we are being linked with, players like Mexes or Chiellini would add both talent and experience. The talent is needed to fix the hole in our back 4 but the experience is needed to get the other three defenders working well and together.

Hey, I'm going to be in London on September 11th when they play Bolton. Does anyone know the best way to try and get tickets for the game? I've never seen a soccer game before so I really think it would be a great opportunity to try and see a game. How hard is it to get tickets?

The two easiest ways would be: i) become a red member; and ii) contact one of the touristy group companies that get and sell tickets.

I thought Arsenal carried the play for most of the match. Liverpool handled the pressure well, especially after Agger went off. I was happy with the draw in the end, but at the same time, disappointed that it even got to that point.
No real embarrassment from the new players, nothing spectacular either.

Arsenal were crap after the goal, generated zilch until Reina gagged. Liked Koscielny, Arshavin was awful, why Wenger likes Diaby is beyond me. Still to gut Liverpool is enjoyable, despite the poor performance.

I thought Rosicky looked awesome when he came on. He really needs to play more in my opinion. The game is an excellent play maker and he almost scored a pretty goal prior to his great curling ball that got them the goal.
Goaltending still scares me, wish we would have addressed that. Can't wait to see cesc back though.

Although I much prefer Given over Schwarzer, I think the latter is Emirates bound. I could complain about us missing out on Given but then I simply have to look at our alternatives...

I think that is the reason why he doesn't play more because they are worried he will get injured because he's not built very solid. Tough to say how much he will play.
