I was shocked to find I couldn't save my HUT in the demo. I thought the whole reason for it in the demo was you took your team to the full version...

When you actually start out playing HUT, you won't be getting a team loaded with stars. You'll have to work your way up to one.

Ah... I got a mix of crappy players... my best player was Getzlaf, but I had Turris, Hall and Eberle. So I thought that was about right...

It's nice to know i can just play around with it instead of investing time building a team that you can't save...

I've actually migrated to the PS3 version after years of the 360 version. I like the range of motion the control sticks give me on the PS3 Dual Shock pad. Especially in a goalie BAP. I feel the 360 sticks are just too sensitive.

and I've noticed Lighting, shiny textures and especially Jersey textures are nicer on the 360 version.

Online however isn't as friendly for PS3 users.

I much prefer the PS3 controls for sports games, and especially in the NHL series. I find that it looks better on PS3 as well, but ever so slightly.

I actually switched over to PS3 because of all the dirty disc errors my 360 would give me, causing me to lose online games *shakes fist*

I've only played 2 games before I left for work this am.... In each of those 2 games, someone lost their stick at least 3 times after being hit. Seems a bit high. Haven't seen a broken stick yet.

I am playing the demo and it is sweet, just learned how to win face-offs properly, but how do you jump? They were talking about how I can now jump over diving players, how do I do that? Is it a deke?

Edit: Yeah, it is the "up" deke.

Does everyone get the same players when they start HUT? I got Kipper.

Oh and for comparisons sake, Kipper is a 89 and Luongo is a 90. Complete crap.

Cool. So, how exactly did that look?

Were you able to do versus back than? Could you trade with each other, would you have to be at the same house at that time to make this work?

I really see the opportunity for this to become the Texas Hold'em of sports games, a versus mode in playing Be a GM mode via SIM & watching, strategy comes into the forefront..

As they say, don't slag it till ya try it...
