Its a shame you need to change the bumper to mount a winch now. Hows the power with the 4dr? I found the 2dr 5 speed to be pretty sluggish.

My wife's first color choice was the Mango Tango... but there wasn't a Rubi to be found within 3000 miles in that color and the dealer said it could take months to special order it in.
So we settled on the Redrock pearl.... which they brought down from Edmonton.

Jeep in their infinite wisdom added that color at the end of the production cycle. You'd would have had to order it in the spring to take delivery this summer.

It doesn't have a lot of power, but then neither did the Ford Escape which we traded in. Besides, we didn't buy the Rubi to go fast... it has other more endearing features...
... and who knows.... if we ever get sick of the 3.8L V6 we can always swap it out for the chrysler hemi V8 engine...
Lots of room in the engine compartment for that... and it has been done before, quite often.

No problem to me... I'm not really too fond of the stock bumper... a new bumper complete with winch is one of the numerous mods on my to-do list.
New rims.... check
New tires .... check
New rock sliders .... (wife has given me permission to buy them) ... so check
New front bumper and winch... next year probably
New rear bumper .... the year after that.
Lift kit.... the year the warranty expires
35" tires.... the same year the lift kit goes in.

Fountain Tire usually has a buy 3 get 1 free sale on their Goodyear tires. I would wait for that sale if you have the time to do so. It would at least save you the cost of one of the tires if you want to buy them in town.

Dont forget about the Toyo Open Country At. I hear the Mt is a good tire aswell but if you do alot of pavement pounding it will drastically reduce tire lifespan. Great tires decent in most terrain and pretty darn quiet on the highway.

My bro-in-law has these on his work truck. He hauls a bobcat/trailer all over town and his box is always full of tools. I think he's gotten about 60,000k out of them so far. He recommends them.

I had those tires on my last truck,i liked they way they looked and handled but..i only had them for only about 2 months and they were wearing out way too fast.(though i do alot more on road then offroad)i think i put roughly 5000 kms and i believe they were roughly around 75-80 percent remaining thread.the compound is way to soft for hot weather driving.my opinion anyways.

I looked at the tires on my buddy's jeep. He's had them for on for 25,000 kms and they seem to be wearing ok. I suspect the wear probably depends on which tire you have on which vehicle. A jeep is a lot lighter than a truck.... thus less wear.
But yes I do expect more wear than a non-winter rated tire.... but then my tires won't turn into hockey pucks when the temperature drops below zero. One of the trade-offs I'm willing to make, for peace of mind when my wife is driving the jeep and she runs into a snow storm or icy roads.... and this can happen anytime between October to June.... here in Alberta with our freakish weather.
Anyways, I put an order in for the tires with Fountain Tire. Got them to drop the price from $298 per tire down to $276 per tire plus I get a 10% Goodyear factory rebate which further drops the price to $248 per tire. Not a great price but its better than the original $298, which was ridiculous.

I called about that. Unfortunately the Wrangler Duratrac is not one of the tires that is eligible for that promotion. The best I can probably do is the current 10% off coupon, that ends on Aug. 28.

www.tirepirates.ca (in Foothill's Industrial Park) has Goodyears as well. I just called and your tires price out at $320 each including GST, tire tax, installation and balancing. Sounds like you did pretty good with Fountain Tire, but these guys are always worth checking.

Yep.
Getting the LT285/70R/17 for a Jeep Rubicon. They are wider (11.5" vs 10") and and have a slightly larger OD (32.8" vs 32.1") than the stock BFG Mt's (LT255/75/17).
The width won't bother me as the new rims I'm putting on have a backspace of 4-7/8" as opposed to the stk rim backspace of 6"... so they won't rub on the inside and the 0.7" OD difference is virtually negligible. They will stick out 2" further than my stock Rubicon tire/rim combo.... which is ok too because their's a lot of room under the Rubicon fender flares.
BTW, if anybody is interested, here is the best Tire/Wheel sizing calculator I have ever found. If you are thinking about changing tire or rim size, this will tell you if it will work. http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp

Not as good as you think. The price I gave did not include the GST, tire tax, installation, filling with Nitrogen gas, and balancing.
Everything in, comes to $297 per tire.... or $1485 total (5 tires). I bought the tires at $248 each but then it will cost me $43.55 per tire for all the other stuff (see bolded part).

I got some Goodyear Eagle F1s from Tirerack and highly recommend them. The price was way better than the gauging I got through Fountain Tire and they were delivered fast, without any hidden shipping costs.
Customer service was great too.

Sorry for the Bump, but as far as TireRack goes, are there any duties or anything charged?
I'm just trying to figure out my total price before I order them.

All duties are included in your price. There were no hidden costs, which was my favorite part about their service. Here is the answer to all of your questions:
