Huh? I didn't say Brad Pitt = Anthony Hopkins. I just listed them both as examples of actors with a wide range of roles under their belts.

...and if you don't think Brad Pitt has range, then you should probably just stop watching movies.

Ah yes, the old "anyone who disagrees with me must be a fool" gambit. It's been at least 10 minutes since I've seen that.

Forgive me for not caring enough to argue with you. I've seen nearly every one of Brad Pitt's movies. He's decent in half of them, awful in a quarter and average in the rest. He's a pretty face, not a virtuouso; there are dozens of better names you could have picked for your example.

The guy has 40-something movies under his belt and he's very rarely ever played the same type of character twice. If that's not the dictionary definition of "range," then I'm not sure what is. Perhaps you should differentiate "skill" from "range."

As for the other crap about arguing... what's that all about? You're allowed to disagree with my earlier comment, but I'm not allowed to disagree with yours? I think you're overreacting a tad. I don't know what type of earlier drama you're talking about, but it had nothing to do with me. I'd appreciate being left out of it, please.

The last thing I want to do is watch some damn hipsters on a giant screen for two hours. I'll stick to the comics and the new game.

The game looks awesome, makes me wish arcades were still popular because it would've definitely been a sweet arcade game to play.

No drama--I was a little peeved that you told me I should stop watching movies if I didn't share your opinion about Brad Pitt, but I'm over it.

In any case, I have to take the responsibility for the thread derail, since I did bring it up. How about we forget it and agree to disagree?

Saw it today, awesome movie. The Legend of Zelda sound references made it even better.

Awesome movie. They really did all the little things right with this. The music, sound effects, editing, visual fx were all top notch. Beck and Broken Social Scene did a great job writing all the music. It was also a bonus for me seeing so many Toronto landmarks that I have become familiar with living here in the movie. The Second Cup they used is a block away from me. I was a bit disappointed they didn't include Sneaky Dee's in the movie though...

Glad I finally was able to catch this movie, only way to describe it is "a lot of fun". If you're thinking about it, go check it out.

I didn't really like the movie all that much. Felt like it dragged on with the numerous girlfriends. It's a decent fun movie though... give it a 6.5/10.
