But you save time in no longer having to style it in any way.

I work in a very cosmopolitan office, looks, clothing, and physical appearance are all top priority. I have to shave everyday, no exceptions, which is fine by me because I really don't mind shaving. I find it wakes me up in the morning and I feel cleaner throughout the day. Suits, ties, and pressed shirts are a must as well, again no exceptions.

When I got the call back from my interview I asked if there was anything I needed to know before coming in. The only thing that the manager told me was that top button of my shirt best be done up from now on, as I'd worn it undone with a tie during my interview.

10 blades for $7 is something that appeals to me!

I'm going to do some more looking into this but you might have a convert here.

Get the 50 pack sampler. Great value. I've been on the same sampler for like 9 months and I'm not even 1/2 done.

This guy gives some good intro videos on wetshaving with a safety razor too.

What industry do you work in?

As I said, I can very much appreciate the professional-dressed look in a work environment if it's appropriate and if there's a high level of client interaction, but that's just downright anal.

As per those wet razors...

I use soap and a brush with wilkinson sword. Works great, closer than I get with a mach 3, easily.

It's hard to explain, it doesn't really take any longer, but you can't go as fast...

Worth it, anyway.

It doesn't matter to me if you care about my respect per say. Keeping well groomed and clean shaven is just a must for success in everyday life.

To the person that says girls like stubble. I don't buy that. Sure there may be the odd 30 year old woman that says she likes stubble. The majority of them will be under 25. Also when girls say they like stubble they don't say they like it on everyone. You have to have a certain face to be able to wear stubble and not come across as looking like a hobo. Same goes with long hair.

All I'm saying is all you grease ass no shave monkeys wont be getting a job from me or be taking my daughter out on a date.

/end rant

Also you baby faced guys may think the stubble hides your chubby face but it accentuates double chins or skin imperfections. Just saying. Take a random photo shaven and take a random photo with stubble.

Anyways I don't give a shiznit how most people conduct themselves in grooming I'm just saying it pays to clean yourself daily.

So if I shave AND clean up real nice, I can date your daughter AND have a job? Where do I sign up, sir?

Don't get me started. I think all watches look stupid. Unless its an authentic pocket-watch. Those are bad-ass!

The bold part made me laugh. What does shaving have to do with cleanliness or grooming? Is hair like bacterial growth or something? Last time I checked hair is natural. Its one thing to have a scruffy crazy untrimmed beard, but some stubble, or even a well kept beard isn't a bad thing at all.

Facial hair is natural, and its manly. People who shave every day look androgenous or like they're missing a testicle to keep the testosterone pumping.

I was thinking about buying a nice Nixon watch, but I think an 80s calculator watch would get me more play.

Oh yeah, calc watch. I love pocket watches too. Unfortunately, for some reason they conjure up images of another poster on here who is not cool like you, Trad. I don't know why. Why, why????????
