I just switched from an electric razor to a Merkur HD safety razor with a Vulfix brush. It's a great way to shave. High upfront costs, but huge money saver in the long run.

Well, obviously not every place is going to be equal but I am certain that you can still get equivalent work at a small fraction of the cost of buying in Canada. You can still get all the same styles anyways, you just need to be secure in the knowledge that while it may be an exact copy of a designer suit it does not carry the designer's label.

Shoes, suits, shirts, ties, razors, wow, this thread has it all.

And I sometimes go weeks without shaving, and you know what, hardly anyone even notices.

The tax season/playoff beard competitions would be great if I could actually grow a goddamn beard!

Shoes ... they suck. So do socks. I go barefooted. One year my wife bet me I couldn't go without socks for less than 100 days in the year. I wore socks on 48 days that year.

Suits ... they suck too. I wear them as little as possible.

Ties ... they're good for cleaning mud out of mag wheels. Wheel floss.

Shaving ... I've had a beard for 31 years.

Life is good.

Count me in the group who hates being clean shaven. But for me mostly because using an electric trimmer is a million times faster, and I don't have razor burn every single time I shave.

And I have a baby face with no facial hair too. I have some strong Dutch in me too so my beard is not very thick... in fact it's downright patchy, but after a few days I look much older than I do clean shaven, thats for sure.

I generally don't really like having to shave every day either, but now I've discovered how much I like having a fully shaven head, which means I'm at least quadrupling my shaving area on a regular basis. I guess that's just life though...
