Regeher wears a CCM helmet but its the newer style.
The face looks like it was photoshopped though.

So lame that McFarlane figures have gone downhill in the last few years. They used to be good. Now it is nothing but repaints.
Todd McFarlane used to be cool, then he sold out and expanded. He should have just stuck to drawing/writing Spawn.

The pictures for the new series of figures are Photoshopped. Probably cause the real figures aren't ready yet, so there are no actual pictures.
Check out the Tim Thomas one. its very obvious.

Wow, that one is brutally obvious. It's not that hard to blend those colors in to make it look real.

If they insist on using old poses, at least go far into the past. This would've made a bad-ass Regehr fig:

^ they obviously have the sculpts, since most are just repaints with new heads. it is not that hard to cast a few parts and paint them. true that it does take time, but they need to do it anyway to send samples (paint masters) to the licensor (NHL, NHLPA, team, player, equipment manufacturer) and to the factory for production.
it is certainly a lot easier just to photoshop an existing photo, but why? that just looks bad. also, there should already painted samples for NY Toy Fair, which was last month.

The face looks pretty poor in that picture but hopefully that is more accurate than the one Toys R Us show...
Has Souray's head

Finally picked this up today and I can't believe that the Toys 'R' Us picture was accurate and they really did just use Souray's head. Using the same mold for the pose is one thing but this is just laziness to the max using another players head

the paint is nice, but regehr is more bulkier than that sculpt. i am sure they have 'bulkier' players in their line. i do not mind that they reuse bodies (hopefully closely matched ones), but heads? that is just lazy. it just looks like a very good custom figure.

Yeah I would have liked something like this (With an actual Regehr head)...
http://www.spawn.com/toys/media.aspx...hoto_02_dp.jpg
Nolan is a little bulkier and would have been nice to have something different like that. And well every player has to get on the ice while Regehr isn't know as some slapshot machine.
Amazed Regehr agreed to sign some of these with them using Souray's head. Such a shame McFarlane just don't seem to be trying anymore.

While that is a funny picture, I am very familiar with photoshop and I usually know when something isn't right.

While the jersey is current... now; I have a feeling that in a few months, this will be considered a 'chase'. (See - Alex Tanguay McFarlane)

Looks like some high quality work you did!
However...why did you choose a Forsberg figurine? His head is nothing like Robyn's (Tall/Long face vs a big circle)

It was more for the body sculpt (i.e. thicker/bulkier frame... the figure, not necessarily Forsberg). When I made it, he was also sporting facial hair at the time so I thought it was a decent fit.
Didn't sculpt bigger ears though
