Upgraded from the BB Curve to the iPhone 3G when it came out in 2008, and then upgraded to the iPhone 3GS when it came out in 2009... and now the iPhone 4 in 2010.

Apple's free case program is live in Canada. Just download the app and sign into your itunes account select the free case you want and Apple will deliver it to you when they are available.

I went for the black Apple bumper and it said it would ship on September 7th and deliver on the 14th. I sure hope it comes sooner than that.

Rogers continue to be woefully inconsistent. The site still says $749 for me, calling *611 the day of launch they told me $499, then yesterday one of the stores tells me I can't upgrade at all... something to do with me having a student plan. WTAF?! That's a completely new one to me. Tuesday I am calling them up again.... No wonder I'm starting to find gray hairs.

Note to Android and Blackberry lovers. Stay out of this thread. Half of the people in here are buying an iPhone on the premises that its an iPhone, its just like that bestbuy employee's youtube video. There will be no honest critique of this device here from apple fanboys. Of course they are gonna say its the best phone ever, and have never encountered the death grip yet, and that their phone lasts 4 days without a charge. The fact of the matter is they are fanboys and three quarters of them haven't even researched the iPhone before buying an just doing it because they are blinded by hype created by steve jobs and apple. I bet if you blew up the picture of the mall lineup , 30% would be old people, 20% people who really can't afford to be dropping 800 on a phone aka unemployed, and 50% pure apple fanboys.

Don't sweat the small stuff, let these fan-boys enjoy their launch day, and I will sit back and laugh when they get crippled, again, and again, and what was that, oh right, AGAIN by Steve Jobs, the true dark lord of the Sith.

why do people care so much about what phone people enjoy more? Like shut the eff up, i'm not a fan boy at all but I like what I can do with the phone. I have tried people blackberrys and they dont work for me. I like the simplicity oof the iPhone but because this is my second one I am a fanboy. Its the most ridiculous thing in the world.

And I am saying this to both sides. all phones has pros and cons, there are times I am mad at my iPhone but that was my 3G and it was only the last couple months but some of that could have been my fault for the amount of stuff I put on it. (jail broken and adding lots of apps)

I have nothing against the phone. I'll consider getting one used once someone's fed up with theirs in a month or two and the craziness dies down. I use a 3GS right now and like it. Asking for evidence for blatantly incorrect statements is not trolling, and I'd do the same for a statement on the other side of the fence too.

The clarity of the screen continues to amaze me. I gave it to my brother for a few minutes and he went on YouTube and found some HDStarcraft videos that were oh so clear.

I'm quickly realizing how horrible it would be to go back to life without one. It's only been two days and already my iPhone runs everything in my life.

I read on another forum Saturday that all Fido locations were out of their initial shipment, and over-the-phone orders were out of stock Saturday morning.

Word is next shipment will be Tuesday/Wednesday for most places.

All unconfirmed, of course.
