Tennessee will not release RB Bryce Brown from his scholarship.
"These are the three key factors: What their personal investment into the program was, did they have their heart into it and did they give it a good, fair shot. No. 2, the harm that their departure creates for the organization. No. 3, how they handle it as a professional.
"I've done that with every one of these guys. . . . So now my decision based on those three factors with Bryce is not to release him."
Absolutely absurd.

absurd??!?!?!?!
This is a school that spend thousands recruiting this kid to come to Tennessee and now this thug wants to bail to go back home once things get tough? He can go play at a JUCO or pay his way to UK. But this is pretty funny.
LOL STUPID VOLS!

Spent thousands recruiting to help them make millions, ya those poor Vols would be so harmed if they released him. The obviously better choice is to take away the chance for the kid to get a college education, that's an adult decision. I always find it "pretty funny" when 18 year old kids get churned up and spit out by the big business of college football. A real knee slapper.

Still doesn't matter that 90% of kids can care less about the education that they don't receive from the school.

What does that have to do with anything? You called the kid a thug with no knowledge or evidence to support it.

So sending a text message to a coach is acceptable for telling them that you're going to leave the school?
The only thing that this does is gets this "me attitude" kid come back to Knoxville like a man and talk to Dooley and he will be released. Maybe Bryce will have another announcement where he will play?
You consider these guys kids when these guys think of themselfs as adults until they are in trouble and then they are kids.

Also his "handler" aka Agent you know the ex felon Brian Butler sold his update of recruiting online for $10. This kid isn't the sunshine on your shoulders that you think he is.

He's never been in trouble!
No, he didn't go about it the right way but to hold the kids scholarship because Dooley didn't like that (he says that is not the reason) is petty.

Based on what? The fact he had a tough time making up his mind on where to go to school? So compare him to an armed robber with far less talent and a woman beater??
You put on a great act here. You really know nothing.

Based on his agent oops "handler" and his attitude that what he wants he gets whenever he wants. He will be in the news not too much longer.

But the colleges recruiting them do give a crap? Give me a break college football is a business. No university in the country is going to turn down the most talented rb in the country (out of high school) because he doesn't care about education. You think Mack Brown at UT gave 2 craps that VY and Jamaal Charles didn't care about getting a degree? The athletes are $$$$ to the university nothing more. You apparently think the athletes should hold the education process in higher regard than everyone else involved.
