I don't think so. I have a couple of HD cable box at home, one I bought and the other one I am renting from them and there is no extra charge for the cable box. This is the reason why I wanted to buy an HD cable box so I don't have the monthly rental fee.

OzSome is right, I spoke with shaw, and they show "additional outlets" on their detailed billing, but this is credited back as part of the cable bundle...
