Crumple mostly, but I mix it up and fold sometimes
And to answer the other question, the TP should come for underneath and not over top

Wrong on both counts.

I'm a freak - I put my paper flat in the recycling box, unless it's shred worthy.
*ignores the fact this thread is about TP*

how am I wrong exactly... Have you be observing my wiping habits and noticed that i fold more then crumple and that I'm just lying about it because crumplers are just cooler people overall and I want to be part of that group, because they just don't care for the social order and have james dean looks.
And apparently you hang your tp with an improper overhand fashion. Which is wrong, small children or people easily entertained (ie. me) will bat at the TP roll and if it is in the overhand position the toilet paper will unroll when batted down.

Crumpling is playing with fire imo. You're entering battle with uneven armor so to speak. Much like the untessellated cheese distribution at Subway, some of your hand is protected more than it needs to, while others are protected far less than needed.
I also have to go with over the back as the best way. Less chance of urine transfer to the forearm, or touching your pouch with unclean (very unclean) toilet paper.
I won't be happy until we've gone full japanese with our toilets. I want an nozzle that fires water to aid the cleaning process and a console that will play an audible tone to cover up any foul noises or release a pleasing scent.

Exactly what I am saying. You need a properly constructed hand/poop barrier.

You have to crumple if your taking a dump at a movie theatre with only one ply. When I'm at my house and I got the good stuff, its always fold, or how about perhaps a hand wrap? I also wipe back to front.

I fold, but do any of you take showers after taking a number 2? I have to shower after or I feel dirty.

Haha I thought I was the only one like that. It's like the OCD in me... sometimes if I HAVE to go at school, I'll rush home and take a shower. When I'm sick it won't be uncommon to take 4-5 showers a day

I have had bites of subs without cheese, but I have never had anything get through my armor... So I going to use those valuable seconds I would have wasted folding and get back to enjoying life... which right after a good #2 life is generally better so i'm not going to waste that time.

Hybrid fold-crumple.
Continuous 4-6 squares. Set the base of a couple folded squares for hand coverage, then crumple/twist the remaining squares on the strip. Then take the loose end and loop it back around holding it with your thumb.
Perfect balance between coverage and wipeability.

I didn't realize there was such an art to ass-wiping.

Do the ladies complain about your smell? They should...there is no need to smear a turd across your nards when you could easily avoid it.
Never mind the increased likelihood of infection for the back-to-front wiping females.

Deoxyribonucleic Acid, for example... sounds impressive, right? But have you ever seen what happens if you put something in acid? It dissolves! If we had all this acid in our cells, we'd all dissolve! So much for the Theory of Evolution, Check MATE!

Yep I've always been like that. I have to shower and use the showerhead similiar to how girls use it when they are getting off.
I only crap at home too. Me and Burningyears actually had this convo during ball hockey last Thursday lol. When I go camping I hold it in, and have mastered holding it in for 3-4 days.
