Default Crumple or Fold?

I always thought crumpling was the only way. Then someone told me about folding but it isn't right. It's not an art. I haven't heard of any famous people that fold so it doesn't make sense.

So I'm wondering what's the right way. Do you crumple or fold?

When recycling paper, I also fold once. I get a thrill from it that I do not get while crumpling.

I take all the papers from our hotel and home and take em to the humane society and they reuse them for piddle pads and such.

If it is high quality tp like I use at home (2+ ply) then I fold a certain number of squares in a specific way, if it is single ply john wayne type tp I then to crumple it more because folding it is way harder because you need to use 2-3 time as much length to ensure the proper poop/hand barrier density and folding it becomes a big pain.

edit: on a related note: I think I tell you people far too much about my life.

Get 700 more.

I like to think I kill a tree when I'm finished. I like to make sure the area is clean.

Wow haha I had no idea what you were talking about. But now that I do... crumpling! I could care less that I use more toilet paper. By crumpling I avoid my hand touching any poo stains if I let out a wet one.

I just recently started doing that.
I do online surveys, and a recent one was about toilet paper usage. It was hilarious. You guys would fit in.

Anyway, it mentioned the wet wipe thing several times. And I began to feel like a freak for not using 'em.

The survey was put out by Charmin. I never ralized they have like 7 kindds of toilet paper. Jeez.
