At least the Officer wasted no time offering an apology. However, I'm sure his Superior was staring over his shoulder, as he wrote it, saying, "You better make it good or else..."

I paused it within a second of her trying to go around him and him shoving her. I didn't see her going for his gun at all. The only thing that made contact was her shoulder and her hand wasn't close to his belt. Maybe the cop just freaked out I don't know:

Why would the supervisor want a officer to admit to something that isn't true? He would be happy if the cop could defend himself, but after watching the video, the officer and supervisor know they have no legs to stand on.

Exactly. I think the apology says it all.

No matter what information comes out, cop defenders will always find excuses. It is clear as day to anyone who watches the video except for a few people who will never be satisfied with the truth being that a cop acted unprofessional.
Who's a cop defender? I just said the video can't prove she didn't go for his gun. The poster I originally responded to said it was 100% obvious that she didn't. Well it's not.

In that picture she has already passed him. Don't really see how it's evidence to the contrary but whatever.

All of the above pics are after contact was made. Pause the original video right at the 16 second mark and she is immediately in front of him. That's the point where any gun grabbing would have taken place.

Again, not saying she did or didn't just that the evidence presented on the video is inconclusive. I still don't think the response was appropriate and that he should have stayed to help her up.

Before the pics, the lady is in front of the cop, but her hands are always up around her chest. They don't even go down or reach anywhere close to his gun.

The only person I know that became a cop after highschool that wasn't a schoolyard bully growing up, was a pot dealer. I realize my experience might be extreme, but it's true.

Cops are just like any other segment of society... there are some that are good people and some that are bad. I don't give anyone the benefit of the doubt based solely on their occupation.

These are all from 15-17 second mark. Look how far away she is from his belt area. He hasn't even pushed her yet.

She's trying to step around him. There was not one moment where it looked remotely close that she was going to go for his gun.

Between your first and second pic is when she is directly in front of him. Look at the cops stride in your first pic compared to the second. It's like you left out the pic that shows when they collided.

EDIT:

This pic...

Unfortunately for you bleeding hearts, all that picture proves is that she was lunging for other officer's gun after she missed on the first attempt.

I swear, it's like a running joke around here. Some of you people seem to believe that all cops aren't perfect.

Just because a liberal news outlet published video of a cop pushing over a disabled woman in the street and walking away doesn't mean a cop pushed over a disabled woman in the street and walked away.

I realise these are hard times but even in Vancouver cops arn't expected to stick their gun up their arse to keep it safe, they do have holsters and that cops gun isn't anywhere close she has her hand.

You're kidding right?
This is after she's been pushed from behind.
She didnt try to go for a gun a first time either.
Her hand is behind the other Cop, its not near his gun.
Her hand is likely outstretched to try and break her fall.

Also what the hell is up with the liberal news comment.
Its pretty clear the Cop stuck around for a little bit, didnt help her up and walked off. He was probably scared because he realized how he screwed up and was hoping nothing was caught on camera, so nothing would come off this.

Thankfully it was caught on camera.

Is green text really necessary when you close a post with this:

Yes.

Not everyone knows what a liberal news outlet is or what their agenda is.

The worst part about the internet is bad sarcasm knowing full well that a handful of people won't get it. I think some people try to be as sneaky as possible with sarcasm just so they can laugh at you when you take the bait.

It is not that hard to see she was reaching out to break her fall at that point.

The people who don't get that are too stupid to help.
