Ken King mentioned that this was something they were working on during the STH info session earlier this month.
Looking at their schedule, it looks like it'll be 2:00pm on February 21. I assume that's Family Day since it's a Monday. Sucks for those of us who don't get Family Day off.

Dont turn this into one your politically slanted slamfests in regards to Government jobs.
Besides, thats why they're called 'employees' rather than 'workers.' Because they dont actually do any work.

I work for a company based in Ontario. Since Family Day has only been on the books down there for a couple of years, we don't get it off yet. They give us Easter Monday off instead, for some reason.

Shenanigans. Call in sick, the Hitmen have an outdoor game!

Yeah this has pretty much been speculated since it was announced the Flames were hosting an outdoor event. I don't think it is finalized yet but I would be shocked if the Hitmen did not play.

Might as well get the most use out of the ice while it's there. The Dinos, Royals and Trojans should get in on it if they're still playing.

Hopefully they'll do a Flames-Habs alumni game on the Saturday, with as many members of the 86 and 89 teams as possible. I'd love to see MacInnis tee one up against Roy one last time.

I suspect that if they are doing a Hitmen game, there won't be an alumni game - though I would expect some kind of meet and greet thing with alumns.
As I mentioned in the press conference thread, the Pats are the perfect opponent for a "Heritage" game. Also, if they can get over 21,000 out for this, it will break Ottawa's CHL attendance record (without the need to give half the arena away).

I'd like to see the old Calgary Centennial uniforms again. I would even buy one.

They were mentioning on Fan 960 this morning that the WHL is looking into holding two outdoor games this season. Something along those lines. They didn't say much more than that.

How are tickets allocated for this? Big year for Hitmen season ticket holders.
