Dr Ray Stantz: Gozer the Gozerian... good evening. As a duly designated representative of the City, County and State of New York, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension.
Was she a blond? I think you may be thinking of Lesley Miller? (working off old memories though!)
They all went to the states eventually for better gigs and more money.
Who was that Japanese reporter we used to have? I remember him appearing in newcasts on Viper. He went to New York or California or something. What about that brunette on 2&7?
I've seen Darryl Janz around town and everyone turns and points. Poor guy, can't go out in public without being stared at but as a D-list local celebrity probably doesn't get any real perks for his fame.

Higgins' first newscast with the Calgary station was in 1989. Since then, she and anchor Darrel Janz have delivered roughly 5,000 newscasts together, covering stories including the 2002 Erlton condo fire, numerous elections and lighthearted pieces such as the Red Mile and Grey Cup parties, Higgins said.
"One of the things I loved most about news was talking to people about their lives and getting to the heart of their story," she said.
Asked on air by Janz what she plans to do next, Higgins said she's made a decision about her future but declined to reveal it.
"I really think today's not the day to talk about it," Higgins said.
Three things from this article:
1. Is the 2002 Erlton condo fire really the most noteworthy thing that's happened since 1989? Okay it was a big fire, and we were all concerned that photon died, but was it really that significant? Why not, you know, 9/11 or the fall of the Berlin Wall?
2. Barb said she loved talking to people about their lives and getting to the heart of the story. But she was mostly an anchorwoman, not a reporter. A bit strange.
3. Darryl asked her what she planned to do next and she wouldn't discuss it. Presumably Darryl knew before being live on the air she was leaving and probably the reason why. Why would he ask her on the air, especially if it was something she didn't want to discuss? Odd.
