Talk about awkward,,,,,,, DJ gives her a hug and she breaks down crying, then Spence wanders over and attempts to come across as a person (for once) instead of a Geek/Robot! ..... and fails miserably with the old one armed "Hug".

The woman she replaced 21 years ago was a lot prettier. A real hotty. But damned if I can remember her name or find a picture.

Well, I really wouldn't be surprised if that were true.
Darryl: "So, You're leaving, what are your future plans?"
Barb: "Well, I really don't want to discuss it at this point in time, I feel like this anouncement (her leaving the news cast) is big enough".
BTW: If it turns out to be true, I don't see a lot of X's beside her name on the ballot.

I could certainly be wrong here, but I didn't think Darrel had a co-host before Barb. 2&7 and CBC both had male-female news tandems, but I thought CFCN was a Janz solo affair until she came along.
The last time a CFCN News person ran for mayor, it turned out pretty good for the city, so if that's what she does, I wish her all the luck.
If not mayor, maybe she'll follow her mother Sue's footsteps and run for Alder-broad (note: I don't believe Sue and Barb are related in any way, but I remember that was a rumour when I was in high school).
