Might have to be 6 am. The friend I'm going with needs to be back for the Meat Loaf concert at the Dome that night, so 11 am might be too late.

but then he'd have to be gone when the morning comes, so that leaves him with having to leave at 6AM again...

Working, because someone in HR decided that it was better to have a day off in February instead.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Note to the engaged. Don't put your wedding on a long weekend. I know we're friends and all but I'd rather be in Kelowna for a long weekend than attending your wedding.

I'm doing one of these two...haven't decided yet really. And the music at BVJ is far from horrid!

FYI, I believe that concert has been moved to the Jubilee. Unless the latest promotion ad in the Herald is wrong...which is a possibility.

As for driving to Kelowna, the best way to do it on a long weekend is head out at about 2am the night before, with 3 or 4 people who can rotate driving and a bunch of blow. Just kidding.....ish

I'll be working 12 hours each day at my office in Toronto! No houseboating, no beaches, no debauchery for me!

Or do one better and take the Bow Valley parkway. It's a much more scenic drive anyway.

Just don't take it on Friday morning, I want to be the only one on that road.

So is having your wedding in Kelowna over the long weekend permissible?

Well according to CP everyone in the whole of Canada will be in Kelowna anyway, so it's all good.

I'll be staying in town - playing golf and working around the house.
