I use it occasionally as well, but only if I have a pretty intense workout planned. From what I understand, it's a combo of creatine and taurine, so kinda like taking creatine and guzzling a red bull.

ya, i workout in the mornings, but the rare time i take it at night, it's tough to fall asleep.

I find my energy/endurance just goes through the roof with this stuff. I'm a bit nervous though, as i'm scared i'll be addicted to taking this prior to all my workouts..........

i also take just under a scoop before each workout, so not much, but again, who knows how much is "a lot"....

I think 1 scoop is technically to the line half way up the scoop. So if you're going over that you're taking more than 1 scoop.

Also, I know some people who have problems getting the runs with this stuff, that's why it's nicknamed Super Dump!

hmm, ya, i take one literal scoop. may be i'll try reducing to only the line.

Taking anymore than one literal scoop does make u crap before heading to the gym, and that's an understatement.

Eventually bubbsy your body will become immune to the formula and the "buzz" will not be there. When this happens it is past time to "cycle off" because you are just wasting your money.

The trick with these pre work out supps, especially those containing creatine (which in large continuous doses is terrible for your liver), is to cycle on and off every 6-12 weeks. I have in the past taken creatine for 2-3 months to build up my size, then cut for the following 3 or so months. You can realistically cycle this stuff, or a product similar to it, 2-3 times a year. Use it to build up your size, then when you cycle off focus on maintaining your build up and you will lean out nicely as long as your diet follows.

Few facts on Superpump for you:

http://www.supplements101.com/SuperP...perpump250.htm

Remember to always ween yourself on and off of these products, start with half or less of the recommended dose and go up from there gradually. And yes, never take it within 4ish hours of sleeping, maybe 5 to be safe. I have made this mistake myself and know how it feels.

You can also pair that Super Pump with Size On from the same company, meant to be taken post work out. Basically what you are doing with these products is speeding up your muscle cells healing time, which facilitates muscle growth.

I like that combo, Shot gun has a great pairing system as well that is worth checking out.

I tried out this Black Powder stuff on my last cycle and was not impressed.. I will be going back to Super Pump for my next cycle in August.

Also to add the dumps will subside as your body gets used to it.. with any new NO supplement I take I find that it either makes me have to piss 1000x during a work out or crap my pants until my body has time to adjust.

Edit: Size On link

I started taking it too about 1 month ago and I love it. I go to the gym first thing in the morning and it's the only thing I take before my workout (and water of course).
Only taking 1 scoop a day and none on my off days.
My weight limits have gone up a lot in the last month and my workouts are really focused, with good stamina. Love the pumped feeling it gives me while lifting weights.

There's a lot of good discussion on it out there on workout/supplement forums and I haven't found much to be worried about. If you have some pre-existing health issues, that could be another story.
And cut back on other caffeine intake, as it's high in caffeine.

I'm looking at adding size-on and stacking as well. Might pick some up with my next tub of superpump. The massive amount of peeing and "superdumps" went away within the first wk for me. My body feels quite normal and is handling the single scoop well.

Eat more watermelon.

Fills you up and is mostly water. Keeps you hydrated for exercise and gives you a little natural sugar for energy.

i'm healthy and all, don't have any other caffiene intake in my diet (do'nt drink any tea/coffee/pop).

just need to cycle off of it i guess. I take this every time i go to the gym, and have been doing so for a few months now, with the biggest break just being a week. Need to cycle for sure.

IIRC, there is some evidence that watermelon also reduces the risk of prostate cancer.

ok so heres my 2 cents.

I stopped eating fast food, and just kind of bad food in general. Not crazy health nut but just little things like low fat milk, not having a bunch of whipcream on my coffee stuff like that. I ride an exercise bike every day for 1/2 hour while playing Call of Duty and got a chin up bar and do my max chin ups about 2-3 times a day.

in 4 months I've dropped 35 lbs and got my max chin ups from a pretty poorly formed 3-5 to a fully extended 10-13.

no crazy supplements or any super expensive workout packages/gyms. went from ~220-185

I know this is sort of a silly question, but is there a difference between using a recumbent exercise bike and an upright?

Or any other fruit. Although the watermelon does have a higher level of water content.

Personal preference.

I like the upright, but have used the recumbent in the past.

There might be different emphasis on your hip, legs by the different positions though.

IMO, upright bike helps you improve the drive from the hip. Perfect for hockey.

Technically, all you did was cut out bad carbs, and stopped your body from going crazy with the blood sugar levels and insulin responses.

Plus, you more than likely cut back on calories as junk food, and ESPECIALLY fast food has a VERY high calorie content.

Truth is that if the majority of the people in the world made the changes you did, obesity wouldn't be such a problem anymore.

Its the constant junk food, fast food....lack of exercise that is making our society FAT.

What kind of chin up bar did you get?

Chin ups are hard as hell, but are such a great exercise. Same as push ups....toss in 100 of those with the chin ups, and you'll see some great gains.

I use a homemade style chinup bar.

Oh, and I think you quoted the wrong person.

So for me the best thing was starting P90X and that was two February's ago.

At my heaviest I was 190ish lbs @ 5'10.
Right now I'm 150lbs @ 6'0.

So right now it's been awhile since I've done P90X, I did 3 rounds and then went to Italy on a exchange abroad, and it was hard to keep up that sorta ridiculous regimen.

But I did become pretty hardcore with watching what I ate. My mantra since Italy and now is eat whatever I want but watch my calories, so I joined MyFitnessPal.com and just make sure I'm in my calories for my height/weight.

I realized 150lbs is quite low, I haven't done a "workout" in months. I play in a floor hockey rec league, play street hockey, tennis, and run on the treadmill (until my back gave out a month ago). So now I've taken one of those out 'cuz of my back while it goes back to 100%.

Point being I'm not OVERLY active, I am somewhat, but I also have a desk job.

Anyway I don't have a six-pack or anything, but I'm pretty darn lean. I'm wanting to go back into a workout regimen, nothing too hardcore but just to gain some muscle/definition. I'm thinking of doing that in Fall once by back gets back to 100%, I found Yoga was especially good for it, I've had a "bad" back for the last 3 years, every so and again it flares up 'cuz I apparently have a minor curve in my lower back from birth that affects it.
