The Riders were better than the Stamps the year the Stamps won the division and won the Grey Cup?
hahahaha
No wonder Rider fans are the dumbest and most hated fans in sports.

"The judge's decision means Tillman is still considered guilty of the offence, but he will not have a criminal conviction and will not have to meet any sentencing conditions."
So basically he was guilty, but somehow gets off scot free because of no prior record and the fact he was drunk on some sleep medi-cocktail.

I'd start at the Vipers game. You'll likely be able to get a Pilsener Hat there (see link below). That way you can get good and drunk before the game even starts so you and the rest of that moronic fan base will be good and ready to tell Calgary how much you hate it even though if it wasn't for this city you'd be shovelling pig manure back on Ole' Uncle Gus' farm. Compliments of our Professional Baseball team, the Calgary Vipers. Can't wait for Saturday, it's going to be a real treat
"The Calgary Vipers Baseball Club, in cooperation with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, is proud to present a dual sport day at Foothills Stadium, Saturday, July 24 beginning at 1:35 pm.
As a tribute to the thousands of former Saskatchewan residents now calling Calgary home, the Vipers are making their game vs. the Edmonton Capitals into Rider Day at the Park.
“Saskatchewan Shines! Rider Day at the Park” will feature a live concert immediately following the baseball game and the first pitch is being thrown out by Jim Hopson, President/CEO of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. There will be Rider prize giveaways between innings and a special salute to the Green and White during the 7th inning stretch.
Fans must purchase a ticket to the baseball game and be in the stadium prior to the end of the 8th inning in order to remain within the facility for the concert event to follow.
The post-baseball game event will begin immediately following the game’s conclusion and will run until 7:00 pm. The Riders will be selling the 2nd Series limited edition Centennial Share on-site during both the baseball game and the concert event. "

yay post 48.
You can buy these pilsner hats in banff. In between Wild Bills and the Grizzly House. It's like a weird t shirt store.
I actually hope the Riders go 18-0 in the regular season and get killed in their first playoff game. hahaha.

PS Talk about an alienating promotion (given most Viper fans are likely Stampeder fans) with no foresights (Potential beer garden for Riders fans to get liquored before the game). I'm done with the Vipers. They want to provide an environment for Roughriders fans to gets pissed for a couple of hours as a group before the game, be my guest. Do it without me. The worst Calgary/Saskatchewan game I ever witnessed at McMahon for violence/idiocy in the past 5 years was the game they had that pre-party at Foothills. Hope it's a fun game for everyone Saturday.

I hope the Vipers get their liquor license revoked on grounds that they are actually running a beer gardens as opposed to serving baseball fans! It even implies that they are running a beer garden as they mention that a ticket must be purchased prior to the 8th inning to see the concert and stay until 7:00 PM. Yet another compeling reason to go see the Dawgs in Okotoks instead for my baseball needs. I might as well sell my Stamps tickets to the game because it just isn't safe to be there when the Rider fans have a pre-game piss up. Riderbaggery to be expected.

Rider fans bragging about their CFL prowess is like the drunk fratboy bragging about how good he is at quarters..... when he's 40 years old and still living in his mother's basement

I'm honestly curious why it is that Rider fans are, generally, such d'bags. These are fans of a team that have won exactly 3 times in 100 years, in an 8 team league. The last time they actually won, every other team in the league had suffered a major injury to their QB, and the opposition in the "big game" was playing a QB who had never started before because their starter broke his arm in the previous game. And the Riders cheated on the salary cap then too.
The last time they made it to the big game, they embarassed themselves off the field by blowing a big lead, becoming a punchline by trying to cheat with 13 players on the field on the last play of the game.
These "fans" have caused a game to stop because they pelted the opposition bench with beer cans. They've dumped cow crap on their kickers driveway because he missed a kick (actually, his neighbors driveway because they're not that smart). Classy. They've had a player arrested for knowingly spreading the aids virus. They've had a player steal a wallet from another player. They once had a GM that was a black panther, and then had a GM that was a sexual predator.
Before the last few years when they were actually successful, they struggled to sellout their tiny run down dump of a stadium, when they are the only game in the whole province. They had to sell "shares" to the sheeple just to try to balance the books, and then had to rely on government funding year after year.
And yet still, the "fans" of this team seem to think their poop don't stink. I honestly don't get it...
Lastly, they still pile on Burris because he left, as a free agent, to a better team that offered him and his family more money and more security. Yet the funny thing is Burris has 2 Cup rings... the Riders, in 100 years, have 3.

Lets go riders!!!
Lets go riders!!!
It is the general Mightier than thou attitude that the country walks around with towards SK that fuels us to back our team. Calgary is especially bad, last few times I have been there I am pretty sure most people I interacted with do not even poop they have their buts puckered up so tight.
