The movie's very smartly made, and sophisticatedly produced, and tremendously well-acted. Unfortunately and predictably, though, I have to suffer weeks now of dumb people going 'omg the ideas were so original' and 'dude, that movie made me think. Why don't they make more movies which, like, make you think?'

trying my best to not give spoilers....

I dont understand how you can call a movie predictable when n one really knows how it ends. You cant tell me you were staring at that thing at the end with all your focus wondering what it was going to do before the credits rolled.

He didn't call the movie predictable. He said that he will predictably have to hear everyone singing the movies praises and that it may get tiring after a while.

At least, that what I gathered.

So why has it fallen to 83% at Rotten Tomaters if it's this great? Some reviewers not getting it?

Some reviews say there is no emotion connection to the story or characters.

I get the vibe more that some reviews are just trying to be different and unique. It reminds me of when Saving Private Ryan came out, was clearly the best picture of the year, yet some reviewers started saying it was "too fake, etc" despite the fact that veterns had to leave the theater early because it was too realistic to them.

Went to see it this afternoon. Very good movie, will definitely buy when released on disc. Odd though that the theater was only 1/16 full. I usually don't go to movies on Saturdays afternoon on a nice summer day though....

That's the best time to go! I find my movie-going experience is SO much better when the theater isn't packed. I almost always go during the day just to avoid the huge number of loud, annoying people that populate it during the evening.

With that said, Inception will be even more awesome. Catch it during the week sometime when it isn't as busy.

The A-Team was a huge disappointment for me. Funny and over the top action was good but the CG was overused and it was incredibly badly done and fake looking. Frankfurt being so obviously Vancouver ruined that whole deal for me, I mean you can see the whole Vancover skyline and the Harbour Centre Tower in the background of many shots. It's basically like seeing the Calgary Tower in Exit Wounds being portrayed as Detroit.

What was up with Silvestri's score and not playing the entire A-Team theme in the movie, ever? Just a few bars here and there. What a wasted opportunity.

Neeson was forgettable and miscast. The MMA guy is no Mr. T. Sharlton Copely and Bradley Cooper were the only redeeming factors. I still don't get how they got from Germany to Los Angeles by boat in 48 hours.

I look forward to Inception though, Nolan has been planning this for 10 years and I encourage you to check out Mememto first as sort of the spiritual precursor to how Nolan envisions making movies like this.

Just got back from the movie and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel scenes alone are worth the price of admission.

I thought it was very enjoyable, but I wish it had been edited down a bit. The rolling hotel fight scene was sweet!

Sadly, I think the segment filmed in the Kananakis was pretty useless. It could have been edited out.

what do you mean edited out? it was a major plot point. unless you mean you think they could have been somehwere else instead which obviously they could have, but I thought the Kananaskis part was pretty sweet.

It was a good movie (Best one I've seen since Gran Torino). Unlike James Cameron, Christopher Nolan deserves some of the kudos he gets.

Just got back from seeing Inception. Great movie. I wouldn't say 10/10 for sure, but it is the best movie I've seen since 3:10 to Yuma.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has done some real quality work over the last three years with Inception, 500 Days of Summer and The Lookout.

Ellen Page is so damn pretty. Not hot (which is an overrated quality) , but she's a very pretty girl.

It's currently #3 all time on IMDB's top 250. I'm not going to rate it yet because I will feel guilty about lowering it's average!

The only thing I didn't like was Ellen Page, I just don't think she is a good actress

but DiCaprio and Gordon-Levitt were outstanding, the rest of the cast was great and the movie itself was extremely well done, 9.5/10

I saw this one opening night, and although I enjoyed watching it, I can't say I'd give it 10/10. Sadly, it didn't live up to lofty expectations.

Ellen Page is awesome. Loved Juno, and almost everything she's done. And DiCaprio is the man. Everything this guy does now is instant gold.

Movie was really, really good. I was blown away, and I'll definitely be seeing it a few more times.
