So Monday we beat Environment Canada and Today the Sun.

I know details are still rolling in and there is sure to be plenty of blame to put on the shoulders of the ride owner/operator/whoever Stampede contracts the midway rides out to (West Coast Amusement?), but this can't look good on the Stampede.

With two full days to go there's been 5 horses put down (EDIT: apparently 6, as per below), bad weather including a huge hail storm, cancellation of one night of Rangeland Derby and Grandstand Show, and now this.

Rough year for the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede.

They're both the Fireball. Looks like it's the one that's ocean motion plus spinning that failed though.
