I usually keep a couple Hungry Mans in the freezer for when I get off night shifts and feel like 10 pounds of poop in a 5 pound bag. If you use the oven instead of the microwave they're actually not bad. Handy on ski trips and such too. Not my first choice, but they have their place.

I get these things once in awhile and think they're pretty good. They actually taste like real food. Of course, there aren't nearly this many flavors available in Canada.

normally i would agree that the TV dinners are spawns of satan, however every few months i end up buying a couple of the beer battered chicken & cheese fries one. if done in the oven and not the microwave it's actually very tasty, though i try to chip off as much frozen cheese sauce as i can before cooking it as there's way too much on by default

Way back when I was a kid and we were poor it would be a huge treat for me to have one of those on the night my mom went out. That was before anybody thought about nutrition and all that stuff.

I consider them a treat. Eating one is just as bad as eating @ a fast food joint one night. The deal is that you don't need to go out and it's there for you when you need it. It's comfort food. It might even be healthier if you skip drinking a pop with it.

Sounds like something you'd find on the Urban Dictionary.
Sharisse was making out with Tony the other night and he asked her for a cafe steamer. She was so pissed she just got up and left.

Most research these days shows clogged arteries are related to genetics and obesity. Diet is probably a minor factor at most.

It's either that or the crack.

What? Isn't diet related to obesity, therefore making it related to clogged arteries?

Obesity is strongly related to genetics too.

I don't eat that great but my saving grace is that I don't drink pop; always water, juice and smoothies. Without those I'd be way out of shape.

I was responding to the point that if you are skinny you may develop heart disease by eating lots of cholesterol/fat. Most modern research shows that's not true. The amount of cholesterol you would ingest from even the fatiest food is a small fracture when compared to the amount your body produces naturally.

I agree. I am fit (I think I am) and need to take crestor. I know people less fit than me and have no issues with cholesterol or bad fats. It's the hand that I was dealt. I run 10k no problem, I am confident that I could run 20k.

If you could run 20K, it's safe to say you're in decent enough shape.
