They're building an 8' Buzz Lightyear out of Lego's in the center court this weekend. I presume he's going into the store when he's done.

This isn't too surprising. They really didn't advertise the opening date since the Grand Opening is this weekend.

I was just there. Probably about 300 people in line to get inside the store...

I know for a fact that Gracie & Gruff on Mcleod had at least two of the Architecture models within the last couple of months because I almost bought the Fallingwater set for my wife there. (Then I decided Lego might not be the best anniversary present even though my wife really does want that set.)

I think they had the Empire State Building and the Sears Tower as well but I can only say Fallingwater for sure because I was holding it my hand knowing that my wife loves Frank Lloyd Wright designs.

I just walked by there also and saw the massive lineup. For a lego store? Really? I guess kids still dig that stuff.

There is a store in SouthCentre that sells some of this stuff. It is called Great White, and it is on the top/main floor of the mall. It's at the Bay end of the mall, down the little off-shoot from the main hall (I guess you could call it). It is between The Gap and The Bay.

I don't think they had too many models but I noticed a few. They definitely had the Sears Tower and I think they had the ESB as well.

I honestly don't remember exactly. I think it was around $90 for the Fallingwater set but I could easily be misremembering. I looked at it quick and then thought otherwise.

I agree, It seemed very small, and boring. Like i thought the walls and floors would have been made out of lego, but the walls are just full of boxes. Kinda boring.
