Anyone else at the rodeo yesterday? I was there and it was freezing but quickly forgot about the weather as the beers were flowing. Went to Nashville North after and it was so cold that I could see my breath!

There has been concideration over the years to extend to 17 days. From what I was told one of the reasons against it to this point is that there would be little support from the downtown business community.
From what I understand, if a move to 17-days was made ,the agreements in place with the midway operator would allow this to happen, and the other festivals would be forced to move everything back.
Not sure if this is all of the story though.

Quick question, Grandstand Show set to begin @ 8:00PM, when do they typically end?
I'm going to it tonight for the first time, so am just curious. Thanks.

A big Thank You to Eurotile (on 42nd beside Frank Sisson's) for the Smoked Meat and Brewskies.
An even bigger Thanks to the Custom Reps there who hooked me up with a couple of hundred bucks in tools and mortars.
I think it's still on until 3 pm today in their parking lot should someone want to stop by...

11:30-11:45, somewhere in that range.
Edit: it's probably more like 10:45-11:15 if everything is on schedule. Our show start was delayed.

I didn't go to Nashville North as I was too hammered after watching the Three Days Grace concert from the Coke Suite. Nothing like free beer, free food and a nice cozy suite to watch a concert in. And your own bathroom is awesome too.

The good ol stampede, the city is known for it's free breakfasts, partys and spending and now it's becoming known for 99% of the fan960 radio listeners switching off the for 10 days.
Other than maybe a Jerry Falwell show is there anything worst than rodeo on the radio? those guys with their phoney "twangs" make me want to scream.

Yeah, the Fan's been pretty drab lately. Not even baseball to talk about with the All Star break on. This afternoon they had Peter Loubardias on talking about the best food at all the NHL arenas he's broadcast games at. Real exciting stuff.

Are you allowed to take a portable/foldable seat in to the Stampede grounds? Super-Preggo wife and I want to see Doc Walker tomorrow but there's no way she can do it unless she's sitting.

Peter Loubardias eats? I swear I saw him at the airport during a L.A road trip and he must have been no more than a 100 pounds.
