That was a great video. I liked the outsourced friend and the carefully chosen fashions.

No, now they watch videos. I prefer reading while I'm on the internet, as usually I'm watching TV at the same time already.

The Onion isn't funny? Have you looked at this week's issue?

Don't tell me this article isn't chuckle worthy:

The Onion is excellent and they do fantastic apple parodies.

The MacBook Wheel is still my favorite:

Really?

To me, it's gone the way of SNL. There was a time and a place, but it was long ago and somewhere else.

To me, "skit-TV" died with SCTV, In Living Color and Bizarre. The Onion gets points for trying very hard and sometimes they come up with a good one, but for the most part it's all rather predictable and drab.

My opinion, of course.

You also love Apple so your opinion is wrong. [/Argument]

SNL sucks most of the time because of the rigors of the show being live and them having to come up with material, make props, coordinate the guest star, rehearse, etc. etc. all in the span of less than a week and then perform everything together live. Every now and then they strike gold. Most of the time, it's awkward.

SCTV was not a live show, everything was filmed on camera and carefully written with lots of time and preparation and a cast of writers and talents that has rarely been equalled. Also, it was filmed in Edmonton for a time so I don't know what to think of that.

The ONN news clips renewed my love for the Onion. There's very few things I've found funnier than the nascar interview.

I always took the SCTV filming in Edmonton as a not too far off the mark parody of Edmonton's local television.

SNL used to be hilarious back in its glory years.

Oh, I should add Bizarre to that list too. One of the best ever. Can't believe I forgot about it.

What? Do you know people who do that? They say "LOL" rather than laughing?

I'm not a violent person, but I'm pretty sure I would punch someone in the face if they did that.

I'm talking about video chat over skype. A lot of the kids from school are like that when we work on projects. Someone will type something amusing, and they all type "lol" while staring at their screens. It drives me bonkers.

I snipped all that out of my post though. It's irrelevant to the discussion and I don't really want to get into a CP argument with other people over whether or not the Onion is funny.

If you like the onion, they made a movie which if you loved the old Kentucky fried movie, Amazon women on the moon, etc.. You'll enjoy this.
