Default Suggestive Text in Firefox

So I was curious...is there a way to clear out the suggestive text in Firefox, so it doesn't remember everything you have ever typed?

For example, if you are on a site and there is a text input field, if you start typing something, it brings up text that is close or begins with what you are typing based on what you have previously entered in from other websites.

There has to be a way to clear this out of Firefox's memory right? I use CCleaner, but obviously that is not doing it.

Thanks for any help.

I believe you can also just hover your mouse over the suggestion and hit delete.

Hmm. I thought this was going to deal not with text suggestions but the actual suggestive text that keeps appearing when I open firefox. Stuff like "yeah click that mouse" and "move that cursor to the left, yeah right there baby don't stop" are just a few examples of the suggestive text that I get when I open firefox.

Anyone know how to fix that?

Private browsing still stores visited websites and can be found rather easily.

Seriously? Then what is the point of using Private browsing in Firefox? Chrome handles it properly as far as I can tell...

I agree.

If the private browsing feature you are using saves your history then you probably are using the wrong browser.

However, I know that a couple extension for chrome have a warning that browser history is saved within the extension itself, so true private browsing is not possible. Don't recall which one though.

The nice thing with Chrome is that you need to enable an extension to work with Incognito - so unless there is a vulnerability within the browser itself that a malicious extension is exploiting, you can be reasonably certain it's not retaining your history.

How exactly is it easy to find someone's browsing history when they use private browsing in FF?
