I'd put Damon in the same column as Norton. Some good performances, but tends to pick some crappy movies.

Tom Berenger is listed in the credits but I didn't see him in the preview you posted.

Man he was one bad ass S.O.B. in Platoon.

The poster and the title sound very familiar, but I don't think I ever saw the movie, gonna check it out, thanks!

Agreed, except the part where you say no one has seen it.

And also agreed with everyone about DiCaprio. Titanic = poo. Everything he's done since then = gold.

The thing with Matt Damon now, he is striving off a majority of action movies. Amazing action movies, but he is putting him self in a different category of actors for the moment.

I agree he is an amazing actor, makes amazing movies... But for him to get into the ranks of Hanks and DiCaprio, he must start making more Dramas. He is not going to win an Oscar with the movies he is making now.

Give him a few down to earth dramas and he will be right into the ranks.

I am also looking forward to this. Like DiCaprio. Like page, but I hate Levitt. He did some movie with Mickey Rourke where he was a young hit man to Rourke's old hit man.

There was a scene in a diner which was the worst bit of overacting by Levitt that I can recall in years. I'm surprised Rourke didn't punch him in the head and walk off set.

Nice.

I was hoping they would need extras for those scenes, I had the ability to take some time off work. Based on the trailers, doesn't look like there was a lot of extras there

I just got back from an advanced screening. WOW!!! Unreal movie. Well crafted, very original and just a wild ride.

Don't let my silly reputation of me liking "bad" movies sway you from seeing Inception. This movie totally opened my eyes to the piles of crap that I have been accepting as cool movies the last few years. There's not enough words to describe how much I liked this movie.

I'm not sure where Christopher Nolan came up with this idea, but my goodness, it was brilliant. So well thought out, and it didn't leave any looose ends. In the first 20 minutes, I didn't know what the hell was going on, but 20 minutes later, I bought in and was in full tilt.

The performances were very solid, but this movie is not about the characters so they didn't need to stand out. This movie is all about this world that Nolan created. This world that Nolan perfected. You do need to have an imagination to buy into this movie, so it's not for everyone.

I'm not gonna give out anything much about the plot, it's best to go in fresh.

If Nolan doesn't win a Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, I will be shocked. Something truly special will have to come out before the end of the year to beat him.

Easily the best movie I have seen this year, a 10 out of 10. This movie has redeemed this summer of absolute trash that has come out the last 2 months(Iron Man 2 and Toy Story 3 notwithstanding.)

Go see Inception!! NOW!!!

Here's a good article of the splitting opinions from critics as of late. Rotten tomatoes rating has gone from 100 to 96, and now it's at 86. Some people are calling it very original, some are saying it's ripping off other groundbreaking movies. I truly dont believe that everyone will believe a movie is truly "original anymore". It's almost impossible.

I thought Inception was very original(Ebert and Roeper agree). Yes, I guess you could draw one comparison to the Matrix, but the two movies are on two totally different levels.

Is this the flick where they built the concrete fortress on a mountain in K-Country?
I wonder what happened to that place...

I recorded a 15 minute "Making of Inception" special on Space last weekend.

Nolan really doesn't like to use much CGI and the sets they created for this movie gave me a real dejavu of the giant sets Kubrick used for 2001: A Space Odyssey.

One of our customers at work is heavily involved in set making for the film & TV industry here, we sent A LOT of wood up to Fortress mountain for the set there. Amazing how they turn plywood and 2x4's into what looks like a reinforced concrete structure.

^^^ As for what happens to it? I don't want to say much, I think a couple of quick shots in the preview hint at that.

The wife and I are going to make a date night of this movie, can't wait to see it.

I was cautiously optimistic about this movie as I've loved almost every Nolan movie I've ever seen ... seeing the rotten tomato love quickly moves this movie into my "must see" category. I only go to the theater about 3-5 times a year, so a movie has to have me very excited.

Not in 3d. It is in IMAX though, so you can catch it with the huge screen and amazing sound.
