You'd be surprised how many of these street level guys you despise so much are actually workign for the Hell's Angels (maybe not directly but in the same food chain).
Spot on.
For some reason people like to pretend biker gangs aren't dangerous, and the low level street gang who is, aren't associated with them.
The street gang is only pushing drugs originally supplied by HA etc.

Those gangs are just higher up on the food chain so they don't have to do most of the dirty work themselves and their image come across as little less violent.
They're completely involved in all of the illegal business that leads to the violence and just as guilty as anyone.

Yep, and in BC the Hells Angels control things that would suprise a lot of people, especially in a country like Canada.

You would figure with all the time they spent making fancy signs to identify themselves they could of been looking for real jobs contributing to society.

The US gangs are chumps compared to what is going on along the mexican border.

Who would you consider more dangerous?

the guy who was "forced" by economic factors to be in a gang, or the so called "choice" gang member.

I've seen The Wire. I think I know a thing or two about the gang lifestyle.

If only the days when this posse ruled Calgary would return.

Then we'd see who the 'real men' are.
