My word, I tune in just now and see that. What a way to return from vacation!

Incredible ending.

Ghana was the better team in the extra time.

yeah but you can't miss a penalty like that!

We'll see how Gyan takes a penalty in the shootout!

This whackiness reminds me of Turkey and Croatia 2 years ago at Euro. I thought that I had seen it all then. Jesus.

Ghana deserve to go through, especially after that last incredible incident.
I've got Uruguay to win 2-1 in my pool though. Argh!

Come on Ghana!

That was the best red card in soccer history. I know the player was upset at taking the red, but he had to stop that shot by any means necessary.

There should be a rule for that, hand ball to stop a sure goal on the line should count as a goal.

Just like taking a penalty to stop an empty net goal in hockey.

The one scenario that I know of in sports where you try to get sent off, even though it also means that you will be suspended for the next match.

maybe, but that's why it's an automatic red card now, it used to not be.

haha we can hear the Uruguay commentator!
