I'm going to buy Eve Online for $2 but I probably won't play it.
One day I will have no life and a lot of money and then and only then will I try to play an MMO.

No idea, prices jump around, even outside of the daily deals there are often unadvertised deals and changing prices.

Yea, I noticed that too. Thankfully I bought it while it was still at $6.79, although even at 13 dollars its well worth it imo.

Its official. I'm never buying anything from steam again unless its on a deal >50% off.
I just bought Europa universalis 3 complete + heir to the throne for 50 bucks a week and a half ago. Now it is 17 bucks for the pair. Fuuuuuuuuuu.
Highly recommend though.

Yeah, because of Steam, I have not paid more than $20 for a full game or package in the past 3 years.

Other than a few multiplayer games to keep up with friends, I don't spend more than $20 nowadays.

Maybe email Steam and plead your case. I've seen people on the Steam forums claim to do this and end up getting the discounted price. Though in those cases it was a day or two after they bought the game that it went on sale.
