just out of curiosity ... How much is private ice up there? Its pretty expensive here in Oklahoma... averages about 250 bucks an hour .... I remember my wife's cousin paying like 70 bucks an hour there..

my issue would immediately be people signing up and then not showing up.

That being said, I haven't looked in-depth at the site to see if they have a plan for that.

Jaymes...when they tell you there's space for you, you paypal them the money, that way even if you no show, they're covered

I see. So it's not a "pay-when-you-show-up" type deal. That would probably keep the numbers up if it's a pre-paid system.

The thing I hate about shinny at Southland is you have to show up before 11:30 and hopefully buy a ticket, but you're not guaranteed a spot if you don't get there in time. Or you end up waiting around forever just to get a spot in line.

Coulda used a few more bodies tonight as we had 13 skaters and 2 goalies. Pace was good and the skill level was all over the place
