A friend of a friend was killed in the adjacent house apparently. 26 years old.

Edit: I can't read.

I have a crazy picture from when I worked at CP Rail of a propane car that exploded, derailed the train, flew over a house and landed an entire section of land away from the track.

I've never met the guy. Apparently it was him and a friend killed in the house next door to the one that blew up. I still have no idea what happened, it's really weird. Police are saying explosives and drug lab have been ruled out. So it was an accident? Yet major crimes is still investigating. Crazy scene.

Close family member of mine works for Atco Gas and they are investigating with EPS. This was probably not a freak accident but yes, if the regulator valves for natural gas are tampered with, it could cause an explosion like that.

The pattern of the debris (lots of it over a large radius) points to a natural gas explosion according to them. Hopefully there was no foul play involved.

Normally I would totally agree. But if it's foul play then at least there would be a reason, if there wasn't - I'd be a little concerned it's something a little more widespread. Very unlikely but I'd hate to think homes were able to autorandomly blow up like that.

The body of a female found in the wreckage of a house that exploded Sunday in north Edmonton was bound and wrapped, CBC News has heard from multiple sources.

Three men and one woman were found dead after the house in the Lago Lindo neighbourhood exploded around 1:20 p.m. MT.
Two of the victims lived next door to the house that exploded. Friends and family have identified them as Brad Winter, 26, and Craig Huber, 30. The other two victims have not been named.

Autopsies on all four individuals were still underway on Wednesday. Police said they wouldn't be releasing any new information.

Police have called the deaths suspicious and homicide detectives were called in to conduct the investigation.
Kinky.

I wonder if she was dead already when the house exploded. This just keeps getting weirder.

I had heard rumours of murder/suicide, so that makes sense. It's just too bad the loser had to take out an entire neighborhood at the same time.
