Just like the game against Paraguay the Italians dominated but looked rather harmless when they got near the box.

No. You said that diving is not part of the game because it is not in the rulebook. Don't try and change the story now because you are wrong.
Fighting IS in the rulebook. Is it in soccer? If not, I am not "wrong".

Are you serious? The English don't look like they could beat a second rate U-21 team. The Italians just lack finish and need Cannavaro to stop making defensive blunders.

I'd start Di Natale and Camoranesi for the next game.

My mistake, the word you used was "embarrassing"

Ah, I meant that it is not allowed, not that it isn't mentioned in the rulebook (thought that was pretty obvious). As for diving, yes, it is mentioned in the rulebook and that it is not allowed, so I have no idea what your point is.

I know that they could all still make it, but could you imagine France, England, Germany, Spain, and Italy crashing out? I would include Portugal too but they kind of suck.

What a game - so happy for New Zealand, I could feel the pride of Kiwis around the world coming through the set. I thought they were going to get absolutely destroyed in this World Cup and they have played incredibly.

I'll be pulling for them to get a result against Paraguay and go through. Another great group finale coming up there.

French players refusing to practise according to CBC. Team walked off the field after the fitness coach walked out after he had an argument with Domenech.

I don't know if anyone else heard this, but apparantley Patrice Evra and their fitness coach got into an argument during training, Domenech had to seperate them and the coach got angry and left while the team quit practice and went back into their team bus...

Well considering the Italians could not beat a tiny country with just twice the population of Rome who only could make it to the WC because the only half-assed decent team from the region moved to Asian qualifying that has some part time players on their team...I could go on but I don't think I have to.

It was Evra actually who got into a an argument with their fitness coach. At least, that's what I've heard. Domenech only interfered so things would escalate.

But the Italians don't look bad, they just can't score. Heck they put 23 shots at net today and only 7 were actually on goal.

England looks like they'd rather be at home. Although even the English don't look as disinterested as France. Those two teams look like they want to lose.

I rewinded my PVR and CBC clearly reported it as Domenech and the fitness coach argued, the fitness coach walked out and then the players followed the fitness coach.

Although CBC's coverage hasn't exactly been world class so far so I wouldn't be surprised if they were wrong.

HAHA what a great result to wake up to!

Keep trying to justify the draw by deflecting the discussion to other teams, Italian supporters. They don't count how, they count how many, and that's two e draws.

I'm happy with the draw and I also got to find out which posters have more vowels than consonants in their surnames. Bonus!
