Really hope Liverpool turns it down. You can just hand Chelsea the '10-'11 title if this goes through.

As a neutral the prospect of Drogba and Torres playing together sounds amazing though! They would absolutely terrorize defenders.

Hammers have been throwing money around and Grant loves him, I could see West Ham if he wants to stay in the EPL.

Shanks and Bob Paisley must be rolling over in their graves with all the crap going on with Liverpool nowadays.

There's no manager to fight for keeping Torres.

The Liverpool chairman/president/owner's resident muppet is a Chelski season ticket holder.

Liverpool is severely in debt due to the owners.

Bye Torres, it was nice knowing you. Makes me sick.

Torres would be offside too often, as the defenders would stop when Drogba falls over.

You said it Jagger. I hope someone...anyone...Sammy Lee? Is back there doing everything back in their power. I'm not sure how possible it is he'll stay...but I'll hope until it's done.

Those s will make the sale and slap the cash on their debt. There is no one around to say no.

The worst part is that as soon as one superstar goes, it starts to become an exodus. Heres looking at you Stevie. Torres in Blue would make me as sick or worse as seeing Owen suit for that despicable outfit out of Manchester.

I feel a terrible season coming on.

Yeah. It's awful when my only hope is that the owners may fear for their lives should they let Torres go.

Liverpool play Arsenal, Man City and Man Utd within the first five weeks.

Yikes! Tough start for the new manager, whoever that turns out to be. (King Kenny hopefully)

In contrast, I'm pretty happy with the start Spurs get:

City
@ Stoke
Wigan
@ West Brom
Wolves
@West Ham

If they have any designs on a repeat shot for 4th, they'll need to snag at least 14 points there.

yep the schedule was very kind to them for next season, they don't even have an away game against a top 10 team from last year until October 30th

first 2 weeks are going to be tough, vs Man city on the 14th, CL playoff on the 17th or 18th, at Stoke on the 21st, 2nd leg of CL playoff on 24th or 25th

and the away leg of that CL playoff could be anywhere from Belgium to Russia and 10 other places

I nominate "Bradford Park Avenue" as the official CP team in honor of John Helm's favorite team!

That's a bit too small! They're 4 leagues below League 2!

The sad thing is John Helm became famous when he was the voice of the Bradford City Fire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGBNb...eature=related. It's a famous video of a fire in the stands during a game that killed 56 people. It's used today as a fire safety video all over England and John Helm describes it in full detail.

Bradford City is in League 2, we could follow them.

It looks like there is a Calgary connection, former Calgary Mustangs keeper Lutz Pfannenstiel also spent some time with BPA.
