North Korea one of the best defensive records in qualifying.
Brazil has looked like crap though.
I need more evidence probably after that 2nd round of group matches, but this ball is too hard to control.

I never would have expected, at this stage, that the Germans would have been the most entertaining, outstanding, team seen thus far. Who would have known?

Stop watching for goals, football isn't as high scoring as sports in the US. The global outreach of the game and the passion for is what sets this sport apart. It's amazing how passionate everyone is about it, like hockey in Canada. There is no sport in the US that means what football does to 98% of the world or hockey to us Canucks. If you were in a country while their team played in the WC, you'd be floored by how into it the whole nation is and how all cities shut down to watch the games.

I understand what you are saying here, but I completeloy disagree and even see that as a condemnation of the sport in fact.
I dont watch NBA during the season nor even the early rounds of the playoffs, because I dont have a team I care about (among other reasons), but when their showcase event comes around I can still get some enjoyment out of watching it because it is 2 teams trying to win the whole thing.
If I have to have some emotional attachment to a team to enjoy a sport, i suggest that sport has problems. It should stand alone on its entertainment value IMO, and so far in this WC, it has failed to staggering degree.

Haven't seen a goal from that angle! This should open up now as credit to NK, they don't look like they are content to lose.

So why don't you view the early round of the World Cup the same way you do early rounds of NBA playoffs?

Early days tranny. The opening matches in the World Cup can be notoriously dull and cagy. Teams want at least a point from their opener and play that way.
I've noticed tons of problems with players adjusting to this infamous ball too. Perhaps it's in their heads but nobody seems to have found their range with it yet, except, the Germans perhaps.
I'm expecting big things from the Spaniards and they would be the type of team to hang your hat on. Lot's of great players at every position. They play with flair and imagination.

I have no idea what you mean...the main reason i dont watch the early rounds of the NBA is because the NHL is well underway and lasts almost the same amount of time. I prefer hockey to basketball...whats the problem?
What I am saying is even with the finals of the NBA...i have no attatchment to any team, yet i can still see the entertainment value of it. Hell even a regular season game makes more sense to me than this soccer I am seeing now. Its simply not very good entertainment in my view, and I dont think i am alone in that sentiment. Which is really troublesome when this is the sports premier event to showcase the best in the world.

What he means is that this is like the first rounds of the playoffs. What you're alluding to is the level of excitement that most people would find at the WC finals.
