I love their line at the end:

Everything we know is wrong. If those of us raised on action movies have to fend off a Red Dawn-style invasion, it's going to be a total clusterfata

The ammo one always gets me, and they left out the other one that kills me.. guys running around with handguns shooting everything accurately and holding them sideways and stuff.

Didn't know about the silencer thing though, now I'm depressed.

From the movie: Date Night, I learned that when the gun is turned sideways, it means "Kill Shot". .......

My issue is not that they constantly c0ck guns, but that they constantly make the cocking sound whenever you touch them anywhere or if they are picked up or if they are moved or waved around or shaken in any way. Click-clack-click-clack-ca-chuck-shoomp-click-swish

I keep going back to movie scenes where guys are sneaking around, or setting up an ambush. Its quiet, the hero waits, the villian is walking into the trap, perfect . . . . suddenly CLICK CLACK.

I also love watching people with pistols, pointing them at their feet and working the action.

I've never seen one guy in a war movie cleaning his weapon, even after marching through 17 miles of rain. Crossing 4 muddy rivers or rolling in the sand.

They get back to their tent, put their rifle down and have some deep meaningful conversation about the morality of the situation instead of doing what they're suppossed to be doing . . . clean your frackin weapon.

The other thing that I hate is the deadly accurate fire or the mexican effect with machine guns.

I remember in Die Hard Willis is coming down a rope and he lets spray while twisting his body and three villians are o ringed.

I always got a kick out of that scene in Casino when Nicky silences his gun with a pillow when he shoots that chick in the head.

I brought up how annoying the constant cocking of the guns was getting in Lost. Another thing that drives me crazy is the apparent need to absolutely pound a new magazine into a gun like they're trying to smash it out the top.

The other thing that you always see is the commando style of taping clips together top to bottom.

They always show these special forces guys rotating clips.

The first time you bash that bottom clip against the ground chances are the rim of the clip bends and it won't feed bullets.

Or better yet, the rim bends outwards and your rounds are forcably ejected.

Well, its not as much a light saber as it is a beam of light frozen using Force magics.

I don't mind when special agents have deadly accurate aim, I mean... they are trained for that right? They have taken post doctorate studies in shooting a handgun while doing a spinning endo on a motorcycle.

I hate it when people call them clips when they're actually called "magazines".

Since that movie was all about hacking the code of a virtual universe to do what you wanted to, I don't think it applies.

Everytime I see a picture of Kim, I have a flashback to team America World Cops with Susan Sarandan screaming

"You will suffer a peasants death"
