Tough crowd. We only dove a couple of times. Hell, the only team in the entire tourney that dives less than a couple times a game is England. Di Rossi's dive (and forgive me for coming off as a homer) appeared more like a pulled muscle or something. They're trained to act like they got shot at the slightest hint of pain. Doesn't necessarily have to come at the hands (or feet) of an opponent.

TBQH, I hate diving as much as any hockey fan. But when it comes to soccer, you can't hate the player, you have to hate the game. If that sh|t was called regularly, or reviewed in a timely fashion, it'd stop. And Italy would still win.

I have to say, it's true that other teams are just as bad. I was pretty embarrassed to watch my boys in orange clutching their faces on no contact, or writhing in pain after nothing. It's still tough to take, but it is understandable why they do it.

Hey, at least its up to someone! More than you can say about 'it ends when it ends' Baseball.

Curious about tomorrow. How much will Brazil win by? Can the good North Korean defense hold up or will they get destroyed? If North Korea loses by 10, will they go home in protest?

Hey, the North Koreans got to the quarter finals the last time they were at the World Cup I'll have you know, beating mighty Italy along the way. They were also up 3-0 in that quarter final before finally losing 5-3. This team is destined........

Incidentally the North Koreans last appearance coincided with my home country actually winning something in the sport they invented. It's fated I tell ya.

Not only that but my country dives less than the rest of the teams too so they deserve to do well. (A fact scientifically proven by 4X4. Thanks for that.)

I'm waiting for Rooney to go all Bobby Hill " That's my purse, I don't know you!" on some on this tourney.

Hoping for a big performance from Marek Hamsik today. Hopefully Slovakia will be able to put this one away earlier and not give NZ any ideas about sticking around and making things interesting.

Wow, the Slovakia v Kiwi game is sparse on the crowd side of things. Plus pretty chilly too

Half an hour in and so far so good for the Kiwis. They're making life hard on Slovakia offensively. Altho, the Slovaks aren't doing themselves many favours with some sloppy passing.

The thought that the English don't dive as much as other teams is pure myth. Stevie G is a nutorious diver. Terry made a comment in the English press earlier this year stating that they don't dive and got ridiculed for it extensively.

Is diving a problem? Of course, but the game does just fine. 3 billion!!! people watched the last final and they are making big inroads in the States as well.

Well Slovakia just completely blew that game. What a pathetic performance in the last 10 minutes. They can basically kiss their shot of advancing goodbye.

Yes that was an awful performance. Let the Kiwis stick around.
The bad World Cup for the little European teams continues.

Ok the CBC stream is feces. It's reset back to the kickoff again.
What a disgrace of a network.

Yeah I'm sure CBC is the problem not global content providers like Akamai or a mutual satellite feed.

Not even ten minutes in and Christiano "Double Pike" Ronaldo draws a fabricated yellow card to the Cote D'Ivoire.
